I was suffering from untold mental disturbances in 1980. After practising the meditation techniques of YSS, I got rid of the problem. Beloved Guruji Sri Sri Swami Paramahansa has saved not only the horrible incidents but also to lead a peaceful life. Guruji's words are God's words. He was avatar of God and still he is with us guiding our spiritual path. It is my experience that whenever I sought for his guidance, i am instantly getting it. It all depends on our deep faith on Guru and God. Guruji's teachings are Vedas and in order to follow the family members, it has been suitably taught. In this birth itself, we can realise God through his intense and long period of YSS techniques. We should long for Guruji's blessings. It is my considered view and also it stands to reason that unless we are blessed by the great Avatar, it is difficult to follow his teachings. Jai Guru.

Oh GOD please allow me to read Avatar Paramhansa Yogananda's book , it resonates with me from deep within , i want to swim in the wisdom , i can tell it's a blessing i will carry for the rest of my existence . I purchased the book today and i beg you GOD to please allow it to arrive home . Im crying for the beauty and Universal wisdom that book teaches , thank you Avatar Paramhansa Yogananda .
When i read his "Whispers from Eternity" and close my eyes sometimes I can see faint images of the subject matter. Not sure how he managed to infuse his writing with the means to cause this effect.

Paramahansa Yogananda is the true Sanskrit spelling that actually befits the title He was deserving of. It gives great credit to Daya Mata and the Self-Realization Fellowship board of directors to make such wise changes. A name that meant little now means what is great. this proper spelling of Paramahansa will help to counter some of the great damage done to Yogananda's work in India by Donald Walters in the early 1960's. SRF/YSS is marching on in Truth.

I think that upgrading the spelling of Paramahansa Yogananda's spelling was a wise and courageous move by Yogananda's church Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Sat Sangha. It is very sad that those who steal His copy written materials will want to maintain a meaningless provincial spelling . Paramahansa " means something!
