@savedchristian4754 Firstly, that's nothing to brag about. It also signifies that Jesus probably found his disciples and devotees incompetent to do any spiritual practice so He had no option to undergo the pain of crucifixion by taking their sins and cause their spiritual advancement. So really, it just shows your spiritual incapabilities whenever you brag about Jesus taking sins upon himself. Moreover, if we go your way and acknowledge what Jesus did as something great and special, then do know that Jesus isn't the only one to do that "sin-taking" thing. What Jesus did, every other Hindu sage did (that too without making a big fuss out of it). It's just a yogic method (which Jesus learned after visiting Indian subcontinent during his lost years) which is employed by the sages and seers, by taking upon the paap (negative) karmas of their devotees and disciples, out of compassion, so as to bless them and help them pave way to their liberation. Sri Ramana Himself did so. The miracles Jesus performed are not even a big deal in front of the Hindu sages, because guess what, they all have performed numerous much higher mind-blowing miracles (these are called yogic siddhis). Those around Jesus may have gotten shocked by his display of those miracles as there was hardly another genuine sage over there, but really, it's just a common thing here in Hinduism which has produced 1000s of enlightened sages and rishis. Moreover, that sin-taking which Jesus did, applies to only those who were present there at that time. Doesn't apply to any of us. Otherwise Bible wouldn't say "we're born sinners" if Jesus really took everybody's sins who weren't even born then. We're all responsible for our own karmas and have to pave way to our liberation from samsara. Besides Spirituality and Spiritual means and practices existed thousands of years before Jesus even came. Jesus, with all due respect to him, isn't the only way and the world, as you may believe isn't just 6000 years old. 😇

❗MUST READ❗ A Vaishnava devotee, who was a high official at Simla, brought all the idols [murtis] that he worshipped daily, and handed to Sri Bhagavan, probably desiring the sanctity of Sri Bhagavan's touch. Sri Bhagavan seemed much interested in examining them. The devotee said, "Bhagavan, people scoff at me, calling me a superstitious idolater." Sri Bhagavan told him, "Why don't you retort by calling them worse idolaters? For, do they not wash, dress, embellish, feed and thus 'worship' their body so many times every day? Is not the body the biggest idol? Then who is not an idol worshipper?" ~From: Sri Ramana Reminiscences

@HinduismAsItIs
@HinduismAsItIs 9 месяцев назад
Hari Om Namah Shivaye! Ofcourse, a great number of yogis and sages stay aloof, isolated and remain unknown to us. Many live in the society without anyone becoming aware about their divinity at all. Now, they can be as advanced as the greatest yogis or rishis that are mentioned in our scriptures and history. There's no certain way or method to meet them. If it's your destiny, you will, not otherwise. They only choose whom they should reveal themselves to. All you can do is to keep doing your sadhana as usual. If you're meant to, you'll meet them. But even if you meet them, they'll mainly ask you to turn within and know who you are. So it's wiser and better to spend time doing sadhana than finding them.

The purpose of this channel is to spread the awareness of Hindu philosophies and practices among the masses. Sri Krishna, Sri Ramana, essentially upheld Hindu concepts like "tradition", "Guru", "rituals", "yoga", etc. JK mostly never acknowledged any of those outwardly, so there's difference there for sure in the way of explaining stuff. God has form. When the sastra says god has no form, the actual meaning is god has no material form but He has spiritual form. When it is said god has no eyes, ears, nose, hands or legs - the meaning is He has no material eyes, ears, nose, hands or legs but he has spiritual eyes, ears, nose, hands or legs. The spiritual form cannot be seen with material eyes but if we become fully spiritual by the spiritual process of bhakti then with the spiritual eyes the spiritual form can be seen. Ironically every question posed by the Muslims was to deride Hindu rituals, idol worship, etc. Maharshi 's reply was typical of The Maharishi. But there are innumerable Saints from Hindu culture/backdrop who have always stated all paths lead to the One. Not a single Muslim/Xtian Saint who advocate the same... This is the essential difference between the Hindu God is One & the Abrahamic concept of there is only one God
@HinduismAsItIs
@HinduismAsItIs 3 дня назад
Maharshi always tries to direct the attention of the seeker to the core of one's being. 🙂 Yes, you rightly said, majority of Christians and Muslims won't acknowledge that "all paths lead to one". However, there are certain minor sects and schools of Muslims (Sufis) and Christians (Christian Mysticism), which do acknowledge non-duality with God and oneness of everything. Their thoughts and ideas to some extent correlate with Advaita Vedanta school of Hinduism. But their count is minimalistic and their thoughts and teachings often suppressed by mainstream Christianity and Islam, which is very much dualistic in nature.

@AndrewJames-uq8ds 22 часа назад
No, he meant formless reality can also appear with form like how we being formless spirit can get identified with a form of flesh and bones.

@prabhhath577 19 часов назад
@@AndrewJames-uq8ds But we don’t worship our flesh and bones as deities… Even Jesus, though manifested as flesh, is not worshipped as such… Even cross which is a symbolic expression is not worshipped as a deity… In chaityas/stupas where Buddha’s relics are buried underneath them… are just symbols… not worshipped as deities… May be he meant something more … which we… at least I could not comprehend…

1. People obviously cannot worship their own physical bodies. Reasons - because they're not all-powerful, all-knowing Ishvara and are ignorant of the truth. They're called the "Jivas", therefore and are limited and under the bondage of Maya, unlike God. So obviously Maharshi in no way meant we should worship ourselves. That'd be completely absurd. 2. Physical form is finite and has a lifetime, true, but God's form isn't mere physical one like ours. God assumes the "chinmaya-shareera" which has no limitations at all and He can assume those (and many more) forms anytime to bestow Grace and Guidance to the seekers and devotees. God's form and body is thus not at all comparable to limited human form and body. 3. The point was just as simple as - how we being the formless spirit are now identified with a particular body, similarly formless God can also assume forms and body (which can be worshipped mentally or through murtis). But nowhere it said God's body = Human body, or that we can worship ourselves. The comparison was to establish the simple fact that if we (being essentially formless) can have a form, God too (being essentially formless) can have a form. That's it. 4. Other religions and cultures don't really have the concept of all-pervading God which is one with the creation. Hinduism has. All that exists, is essentially pervaded by Him, although, it needs to be realized as well. Moreover we have the concept and science of prana-pratishtha in the murti, which awakens the essence and energy of God within that particular murti (which is then worshipped). Hope this clarifies! 😇

Who says God doesn't have form? Only through Vedic way of life and sadhana method one can manifest divine form of gods image one holds before them with hundreds of saints having done that. God can be child, mother or father or friend as you resonate. It is absurd to force or impose someone to believe in singularity. You worship the way you see fit . God doesn't have protocols just pure heart, truthfulness, kindness and noble divine conduct, supreme concentration, as patanjali sutras for anyone brings them in close to the divine. Promises of heavens and virgins are nothing but manmade bribes that become s luring tool to attract fake

The word "hand" is mentioned over 100 times in Q-uran .A##la also sits at on a throne .How come a formless sit on something ?? Take for example the verses of Q--rn ”(Qur’an 39:67) “ --They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be within His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. (Qur’an 38:75) --“Allah said, “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant then, or were you already among the haughty?” Interesting their are over 100 verse !!!

Yes, infact both "form" and "formlessness" is essentially God. Shruti says that "Sarvam Khalvidam Brahman", i.e. All this (existence) is Brahman. Just like how same water appears in various forms of glacier, waves, ripples, bubbles, foam etc., God appears in various forms (as mentioned in the scriptures and even more) in order to bestow Anugraha on the devotees. Essentially even murtis and non-different from God, as everything appears out of Him only and that He's all pervading. Lord Narsimha appearing out of pillar to save Bhakta Prahalada is a great example which shows how God resides within everything. So Murtis are essentially God too (not mere hollow personifications), especially more so after the avesham or descending of the deva into the Murtis, after prana pratishtha. There are mutliple ways, means, practices and paths to realize God, to cater to all kinds of aspirants and sadhakas, based on their varying capabilities, inclinations and samskaras. 😇

Firstly, you have 0 clue as to what Maharshi did and is still doing to thousands across this globe. His words appear empty talks to those who're themselves empty. To those who are genuinely spiritually mature, they cannot deny glory and life-changing eternal presence of Sri Ramana (and thousands of other Hindu sages and rishis). Secondly, Jesus isn't the only one to do that "sin-taking" thing. Those around Jesus may have gotten shocked by his display of those miracles, but really, it's just a common thing here in Hinduism. However, that sin-taking which Jesus did, applies to only those who were present there at that time. Moreover, I wasn't even ever born in those dark lands bereft of spiritual light, where Jesus had to set foot, so really his blood can never be on me. Secondly, you know really nothing about me to say whose slave I am or what I need for deliverance. @HinduismAsItIs 3 дня назад
Firstly, it's just your assumption to say "no one knows the exact form". Maybe you don't know, which is fine. But to assume what you don't know, nobody else could know, is sheer arrogance. Secondly, there are no "imaginary" forms, all the forms that appear in/as the Murtis, are the ones revealed by God Himself to the Hindu Rishis and Sages. The scriptures are the authority for this and they clearly mention these forms. Having said that, it's much more disrespectful to assume God is confined to just one form (or formlessness alone) and that He (being all-powerful) is incapable to appear in the form which His devotee chooses to worship Him. All forms are "essentially" His, because as per Hinduism, He alone has appeared as all that exists. At the beginning of creation, God alone was. If that's true, it means that this existence too has come out from Him only (as He alone existed at first) and thus (this existence and all the forms) is essentially Him only. You may still choose to disagree, which is fine. But as Maharshi said, if a person (essentially who's just a subtle formless spirit) identifies with a form of flesh and bones (and believes himself to be this gross body), then there's also not at all any problem or issue in worshipping God in/as some or the other form which is dear to one's heart. 😇

Because they didn't have to die! They could solve the problems of the living by being alive. They didn't have a martyr complex!! If you give any sincere thought to Christian "Saviour" philosophy, or the Abrahamic concepts of Life, Death, God and Heaven, you will realise that they are extremely imbalanced. One "Saviour" dying at a given point in time doesn't solve anything! If it does, then think about absolutely unfair / unjust it is. If for example, a serial Child rapist, who hasn't been caught by the law, towards the end of his life, genuinely accepts Christ as his saviour and becomes a Christian, where does he do when he dies?! Heaven right? Is that a just result of his atrocities on this planet? Is it justice to all those unfortunate souls who suffered at his hands? It is an absolute Karmic injustice! Not just that, it flouts the laws of conservation in many ways. The human life is a finite quantity, the actions he commits is also a finite number, but the end result, i.e. Heaven or Hell are INFINITE. That is to say for a finite number actions in one's life, he'll either get infinitely roasted in hell or infinitely be rewarded in heaven! How the heck does that make any sense whatsoever??? Abrahamic faiths are incomplete and see only a slice of the whole truth. Do not even attempt to compare them with the depths to which eastern religions, specifically Hindu / Buddhist thoughts have gone to.
