True but I think if the Mantis can get him from behind its game over for the Hornet ... Hornet cheated using his stinger multiple times the final blow was in the neck..
Surprised the hornet lasted that long. Figured it would exhaust itself. 2° kills it. And if you ever watch like ALL the videos of these killers their abdomens are ALWAYS thrusting. Considering how 1 can decimate a beehive its a shock after the worlds governments labeled these hornets extinctionable that i see too many still alive. Like the bees arent important to our lives. The bees go extinct so do we. Eventually.
the hornet is so strong that she barely even pay any attention to the praying mantis as she has a bigger interest of how to go back to her nest because she doesn't seemed to be scared in the first place.
Hornets are very fierce, strong, and always aggressive. This was expected outcome, but Mantis with this size advantage has that small chance to land the perfect grip.
The Giant Japanese Hornet is a hive minded creature. She's not going to perform the same in captivity as she would in her natural habitat. Had these two met within the wild, the Praying Mantis would have been chewed up into sections of paste and taken back to the hive. But in an artificial containment, the hornet is simply thinking about how to get back to her hive.
this is the most big brain argument in the history of ever and when i was watching this fight in my mind i was like if fighting dogs are illgeal are fighting bugs illegal too?
@@cheesecake2042 Well, clearly we humans value different forms of differently. I'd imagine pretty much all of us would swerve our car to avoid hitting a dog if it meant we had to run over an ant hill, killing hundreds of ants. Not saying there is anything wrong with this, but it explains why fighting dogs is illegal but fighting insects isn't. It's a value judgment.
It only "can go both ways" in captivity. In the natural wild habitat, that praying Mantis is getting owned, unless it's a much larger female Mantis. And even then, she'll have to grab an unsuspecting Japanese Giant Hornet and deliver fatal blows directly to her head to have a chance. These hornets can tangle with the legit bad asses of the insect world.
@@FunnyVideosImedia "WhAt Is ThE dIffErEnCe If We WaTcH tWo PiTbUllS fIgHt ThOu?" You're driving your car on a road. Suddenly, you see a single dog in the middle of the road. But if you swerve not to hit and kill the dog, you'll then run over a huge colony of ants/any other instects killing hundreds of them. Would you choose to hit and kill the dog, or kill hundreds of ants? Now let's say there's a human being on the left of the road and a dog on the right. Would you swerve to the right and kill the dog, or would you swerve to the left and kill the human person? F*ck off with your leading question, your moral high ground, and your self-righteousness.
If That Hornet was in a hunting mode it would have easily defeated that mantis, it was more concerned with trying to escape , The mantis took a shot at snaring the Hornet 0:35 in the video but quickly realized it was too big and powerful to subdue , disengaged from the fight and looked for a escape route
Bullshit ,hunting mode or not the weapons it possesses remain. This mantis species is large and aggressive. The hornet wouldn’t have stood a chance unless it attacked as a swarm .
Mantis is lucky to be alive with presenting his belly and back to a very dangerous predator! How did it not get stung and his arms crippled is just lucky!
An hornet in captivity lose its purpose to serve the nest. So instead of hunting food for the nest, it would just focus on trying to escape. In nature, that mantis would be torn into pieces by the hornet.
@@VegetoExp626 In natural there paths would probably never cross & like most of these videos there rather pointless as neither can retreat as they would in the wild.
Mantis wasn't trying to predate the hornet. If that was the case, it would have had no chance. Instead, it just kept trying to fight it off. Guess it wasn't hungry for hornet.
Putting that stick in to get the bugs to fight more is sick. It's like cockfighting. 'Gee, what am I gonna do for fun? I know. I'll get bugs to fight each other. And if they won't, I'll make them.'
Huh this is wild Cuz I've seen tons of other videos were the mantis just straight up murders the Hornet with no effort at all, that winged basterd was determined to live
Every mantis vs hornet fight I've seen- Few mantis catch the 🐝 at just the right angle. A lot of the matids end up on their backs with ruined claws. This is comparable to a samurai vs a charging bear.
It's life at the end of the day wot gives him the rite to do that tho love to watch that person get dropt a pool with a Croc and see how he would like them apples 🍎
Mantis: Hey stupid! Hornet: Did you just call me stupid?! Mantis: Well..if you heard me why ask? Hornet:umm... Well imma beat you anyways.! Mantis: Well you stung me so.. I survived it (STUPID LOSER) Hornet: Come on (SHUT TF UP)
Mantis : I killed a snake Hornet : look I'm already pissed off ok >:( Mantis : Why? Hornet : A giant thing puts me in a prison all the time Mantis : ok "attacks the hornet and gets bitten" Also mantis : The fu-
