1:38 Hope we can see more of Mr Hugh's trolley, along with 'The Old Engine' and 'Big City Engine' they've remained unnamed and criminally underused in my opinion.
Good list! Just to let you know the coaches I mentioned were the autocoaches on the little western, rather than the Skarloey coaches. I've also not heard of Killdane before!
@@sodorislandmodels6332 Fixed the SKR/Autocoaches thing and 1020's name of Killdane is a fan thing like BCE being called Patriot. Granted i only know of Killdane, or just Dane, cos of the Hawin Saga from The Blue Snowplow.
Awesome, I can’t wait for the next video! I personally tried to have a crack in finding Duck’s irl number with just info on the internet, but I ended up giving up. It is a lot harder than you make it seem, the work you do is amazing! (Hoping for ether Duck or Oliver soon!)
While in the TV Series Thomas and Percy were the most prioritized characters of the show, do you think Gordon along with Henry could be considered like the main characters of the RWS? We already know The Unlucky Tug has claimed to see Gordon as the RWS’ main protagonist due to having gone through a lot throughout the whole series (which I see as well) but Henry’s also gone through a lot as well throughout the books with his character journey ending at least during Wilbert’s era and has a lot of depth to him plus was around Gordon a lot where they’re even half-related.
Interesting, I don't see there as being a main character tbh, I think Thomas, Henry and Gordon are probably the three biggest, then Edward, James and Percy. I think of it as an ensemble cast really
@@sodorislandmodels6332 Yeah saying it as more of a way to view it rather than an actual fact. I’d say Thomas was more of a secondary character in the RWS who just popped up every now and then since he didn’t do a whole lot in Wilbert’s stories after a while, Percy definitely had a lot going on but he didn’t feel the most major and he was also someone who ended up popping up every now and then too (the Ffarquhar branch stories felt like more of side stories so you could say Thomas Percy and Toby were all more like well side characters), Edward while feeling like a major part felt more like the most important supporting character, and James while around a lot seemed more like a plot device and just there with the mainline trio than feeling like the RWS was his story. Duck Donald and Douglas did feel like they were mains in the latter half of Wilbert’s books though since they weren’t around at the beginning they don’t feel like the most important parts of the RWS (Oliver came in around the very end so he definitely isn’t the most important of the Original 11). Gordon Henry Edward and James to me all seemed like the most central parts of the RWS as a whole but again the RWS feels like the former two’s stories while again the latter two while still major felt more like supporting characters. I guess you could interpret the Skarloey Railway stories as more of their own side series since obviously the NWR’s the main focus of everything.
@@sodorislandmodels6332 For the Skarloey Railway stories, while Skarloey played the most important part his story was pretty much complete already and he seemed more of a supporting character and Sir Handel and Peter Sam’s story felt the most big since we saw their arrival at the beginning and over the course of the stories we kept getting subtle hints about their past lives before it all built up to Duke’s stories, Duncan while entertaining was more like comic relief and the course of the SR saga didn’t feel like his story, Rheneas while important to the saga was absent for a while and we only got to see some of him after, Duke while also having a big story and was what was going on with Sir Handel and Peter Sam only appeared at the end, and Rusty was extremely minor where he was just sorta there with hardly anything going on
