@EmergencyGuy as stated above. It doesn't matter if it is a fire alarm call or a structure fire call. Packs should be on. Fire alarms go off for a reason. They are there to alert when there is a fire, as was the case here. If I were a taxpayer in this community I would not be happy about firefighters showing up not ready to go to work.
@@jonarmedpiandsecurityoffic9051he should park in a spot next time and not by door I say main rigs take door just my thought but I get what u mean by better for accountability on crews inside
Talk about right place at the right time, couldn’t have picked a better spot to film the unit’s arrival on scene. East Greenbush has some slick looking rigs 👍🏻
Outstanding video and coverage of this incident, pretty well put together department and apparatus, especially the bus and the purpose it serves, Also the chief now Pio officer serving as a life time member is pretty cool to have retired and still play an active duty role.. Thanks for sharing this video.. Tony j. from Indiana…🙌🏼👍💪🔥🚨🚒📸
Thank you! Yes, it seems this department has it largely down well! The bus was the first one I've ever seen in person, and I was amazed to see it. It is truly a great resource to have access to, same with the retired chief as PIO!
Anyone notice an oddity? After FD arrival and initial evaluation, a group of people with bags walked past the firefighters headed toward the entrance behind the tower truck? No one seemed to notice or try to stop them.
That's what I said in my comment. Then someone had the audacity to say to me "because its an automatic fire alarm" to which I replied it doesn't matter, you always treat it like the real thing
Nope! It's meant for rehab, but they utilized it for heat, for the staff of the building who (maybe) didn't have vehicles. It was 10 Fahrenheit with a brisk wind throughout this incident
Certainly, that might be the case if there was any indication that the structure might collapse, or any evidence that something down the road could lead to a collapse. I don't see any of that here.
