Although my main collection is in ancients, I do collect pre-decimal British coins (AU and higher) and old British numismatic books. I don’t restrict myself to one denomination.

“If you’re not British or …… very young” other countries also used pre-decimal currency. It’s just that we were so slow to adopt decimal currency, that by the time we did, we were only ones left. So it seemed uniquely British. Also love the content

I like them, so far just been getting cheap ones at around and sometimes below silver price but I like seeing the nice graded ones too

I have a shilling collection. One for every monarch from Elizabeth II to Edward VI. Looking to go even further back in time.

I am more of a type collector, but there are some that I’m looking for the dates: the Canadian five and $10 gold pieces from 1912 - 14, sovereigns from all 7 mints, etc. I collect mostly United States coins as it’s my home country, but I do love British coins as well!

I have plenty of pre decimal coins, but most aren’t British. The bulk of LSD coins are Rhodesian. Doing a date set. But I would love to get more of the mainland LSD coins. I’ve got a really nice 1908 Florin, a 1902 Crown, and a 1906 Shilling, but that’s about it for milled pre decimal.

love some pre decimal, planning to get some lima and vigo silver as its the closest we have to proper pirate coins given the metals origin. what coin do you think is the most interesting? cartwheel twopence for me.

Hi numi pre decimal are the best. My last william sixpences I graded with you are going under the hammer at rwb auction in September . They have found a veriety ngc have missed too . I'll be sending more soon 👍
