What's wrong with asking the tough questions? Fans and players these days are such primadonnas. If you can't handle a hard question, get back to mommy's basement.
I'm a Canucks fan and I couldn't stand the guy even before he wrote that "Institutional Surrender" article last week. His questions are always looking for the worst spin.
Connor sounds and looks exhausted, can’t imagine the out put requirements to push all the way to the cup. Hopefully the third line can contribute tonight and Sunday.
Wow mcdavid looks absolutely exhausted:/ can’t say I am 100% confident but I’m absolutely praying and hoping they catch a flight back to Vancouver for game 7 🤞🏻
Look I'm a Canucks fan and I don't really like the Oilers that much because they're arrogant, but I don't think they're out of this one yet. I think it goes game seven and then that's all the marbles for both teams I want the Canucks win but there's no guarantees and like he said it's just another game and if that's the mindset that you have to have because if your thinking about it, and all the other stuff he's right it'll be in your head and you'll make mistakes. Like them or not they're a good team anyone that says they're not really hasn't been watching. They're both really good this year.
can i ask what makes you think they're arrogant lmao sure they're confident in their own abilities but they've never not given credit to the opposition
@@ramladan so I guess saying, I don't call goalposts good goaltending even though the guy made like 40 saves other than that? I guess that's giving the other side credit ah
@@MrCoda47 did you watch the full clip or just see the quote taken out of context and run w it like the rest of canucks fans lol the question he was responding to was "you guys hit the goal posts 4-5 times, was that a product of luck or good goal tending?" hence his answer, if he was trying to discredit the goalie he wouldn't have complimented his performance later in that interview and the next one
I’m a Canucks fan and I still think Spector is the worst interviewer in the game. “You guys sure are the worst, and under pressure, and you personally have a dumb face. Thoughts?”
Dont tell anyone, but I'm a Canucks fan and I secretly like this Oilers team a lot. If they beat us, I'm gonna root for them all the way to the cup. I will be obligated by my Vancouver blood to chirp and insult Edmonton. But my heart will cheer for the Oilers. Im fully expecting this series to go to 7. Gonna be intense. Go Canucks!
The Oilers success in this series has been on the back of their lethal power play. But the Oilers powerplay went cold in game 5 going O for 6! Can anyone remember the last time that happened? The Canucks obviously made adjustments , and that’s really bad news for the Oil. If the Oilers can’t find something new to offer the Canucks on their powerplay, they will likely lose. Based on the stats, the Canucks have been the better team 5 on 5 throughout the series. The Oilers coaching decision to over play the top line now looks to be a problem. The Miller line has outplayed Mcdavid line 5 on 5. The bottom 2 lines must step up the way the Canucks bottom two lines have or it most likely ends tonight.
@@m1j4s ahhh. Another unknowledgable Canucks fan who probably thinks Trevor Linden was a heck of a player and who also thinks Stan smyl is a type of drink you get at the local pub in Surrey BC.....
Im hoping McDavid can at least put his best effort out there tonight, but also not feel like he has to do it all on his own. Surely he must be feeling fatigued by now if not just a little. Their depth guys have to play some solid minutes too I'd imagine if they're to make a good game of it tonight. Thanks for reminding me stan smyl isn't a beverage.
I still believe that no players or coaches should do pre game interviews. It like @ingnite-Ambition says people like Spector only put negative vibes out to further their own ambitions. GO OILERS
We all see the Skinner debacle unfolding....it will never be all your fault...but it is what it is. You still have a few more Prime Years to gamble with. Keep your head up tonight. Good luck.
Shooter tutors back in goal all five holes will be open he'll be on his knees he'll let too soft he's in the first 5 minutes it's been a great rebuilding year again but mcdavid and draisitil are aging out
I don't think I'm going to watch any more interviews, always very similar questions asked, answered in very similar ways, blah blah blah and then you get spector. I wish he would fall off the end of reporting and media thing and disappear. I don't think anybody likes him, pretty sure I'm not alone on that, who pays his wages and why??
Not a chance. Have you paid attention to every other time the Canucks were the only Canadian team?? Fans from all over Canada, from Calgary and Edmonton to Toronto IMMEDIATELY begin to cheer for whoever the other team is - it doesn't even matter who. Cheering for the last Canadian team is a BC only phenomenon.
@@ethank6311 Further proving the Canucks will never be Canada's team, no matter what they do. The rest of Canada ALWAYS has some excuse to cheer against them, Canucks fans always cheer for the remaining Canadian team. Support that is not deserved because it is never reciprocated.
crappy? You're not talking about Vancouver are you? I'm in the US, not even a fan of either but come on bro. Their talent far exceeds the Oilers. Take away Micd and 29 and they're not even a playoff team.
Vancouver's Coach Adjustments: YOU SUCK, YOU ALL SUCK. Puts out video >>> This is what are you doing! it's wrong! You don't respect Mc David, you POUND HIM! *Shows a bunch of calculus equations* this is what should do. This...correct this one. I expect this now! You're all a bunch of passengers. Fix it now or no contract next year! Edmonton's Coaching Adjustments: Oilers: We just need to fix it somehow....
The guy will not be able to skate past Ian Cole by the end of the night if thats the case... He needs to play like 25 or less and be flying every shift. They have to put more trust in all of their lines... its not too late but they shouldve been sharing the workload much earlier, if not to atleast condition the 3rd and 4th lines for eating up minutes not necessarily for offense but just to shut down opposing teams chances. I dont think any cup contender goes far without that recipe.
I am a realist. Even if they win tonight, this series will be lost in Vancouver. They had their chance, their last chance with this duo, and they blew it.................. again. Only this time, against a team that has never collectively even seen the playoffs. Like Toronto, it's time to shake things up on this team next season. Draisaitl is going to walk, so he will be dealt at the deadline, and then it's just McDavid for 1 more year before he walks. It's been 9 years since this franchise had to fish for a 1st overall pick, but those days are on the horizon once again. It's just the way it is.
@@ParabolaTit's part of the playoffs dude. every team does it. what WE should have been doing is going after boeser or miller the same way. but knoblach coaches peewee hockey i guess
