I am an Englishman that now lives in the USA. Leeds United were my team when i lived in England from 1960 to 1981. I remember the golden years of Revie, Bremner, Hunter, Lorimer, Clark, etch I have seen Aaronson in the States and for the USA national team. This kid is special. He will have a huge impact for United and in the Premier League. Leeds United fans are going to love this young man. A 21 year old dynamo. My fellow United fans, you have yourselves a player.

All the boys put a good shift in, and the new boys in particular were fantastic, Aaronson easily the standout.

This is what Aaronson will do for Leeds all season. Run all day long, press like a lunatic, and then always look to create scoring chances for teammates, as directly as possible. He’s shy about taking chances himself in front of goal, unselfish almost to a fault. I’ll be interested to see if Leeds encourages more finishing by him, and if he listens. If this remains his major flaw going forward, just live with it.. he does so many other things well, you probably won’t mind.

As a Union fan, Leeds have a STUD in Aaronson. I watched him play in the MLS with ease!

American here. You can see why Aaronson is typically in our national team's first 11 or a key guy off the bench. He is also a very good dead ball striker as well, though typically Pulisic will take corners for us. He did look tired at the end. Adams can get caught out as you saw, but he will win balls. However, you do need to consider the obverse of "our defense is not good." Given the weakness of the opposition in this game, it's tempting to be more aggressively on the front foot, which leaves you open to the longish searching balls. Don't be surprised given EPL opponents, things will be tighter. YOu're not going to score 6 against Wolves. Finally, now that the season starts next week in Holland, it will be interesting to see if you sign Max. It may have to happen this week. You need him. Orta may wind up overpaying.

6:08 Don't sleep on the quality of this goal. Struijk actually putting in a very good shift at LB. Harrison with some top quality close control. Pat phenomenal though, he see's it happening before anyone else, that movement is quality, makes it an easy goal.

The second goal we conceded was when the fullbacks got forward and there wasn’t enough cover at the back, at that situation the center backs need to shift to the fullback position and the midfielders Adam and Roca need to slot in to the center back position. The first goal was because Llorente lost his man. Still work to be done on the training ground and in the transfer market, but I’m confident we’ll sort everything out. MOT

Brenden has lungs for days. The kid can run all day long and with pace. One of the hidden gems that came out of MLS. Medford Messi will be loved by Leeds if he's not loved already.
