But if we look at Khmer’s neighboring, we see that their old painting’s gestures are smote and soft but their dancing is not!!! So it can show that who is the original one on Dancing and the painting!!!! Just because of Khmer was destroyed by war n we lost a lots of Documents and King’s Materials!! And I still wonder where those thing have gone!!!
Kh Art : Khmer never lost any evidence concerning dance because this dancing style originated from Siam. Khmer learnt Khon, Rabum and Lakorn from Thai teachers whose King Srisovat recruited from Siam Royal Court where he stayed as an hostage for 24 years.
The dance was already exist, but we lost the War in the past to Siam. That's why we were under Siam rule for over 400 yrs. Siam take all our knowledgeable people force them to teach Siam the culture of Khmer. Even in Thailand there are a lot of Khmer people live there way before Siam take over the land and they speak Khmer with Thai accent.

Even in modern Thai culture the legacy of the Indianized culture of Angkor is still evident.
