"Dünya'ya hükmettik" diyebileceğimiz yıllar taş çatlasın 100 yıldır. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu bizim gururumuzdur ancak gerçekleri görmezden gelmeyelim.

There were more precious jewels than these but stolen or melted . (Example: Sultan Suleiman’s 4 Layer Crown) But Even These are Still the World's Largest and Most Valuable Diamond and Emerald. Topkapı Dagger/ SpoonMaker Diamond. The most precious and flamboyant crowns, necklaces, rings and diamonds of the world were in the hands of the Ottoman Dynasty. However, when the state was in debt, the Sultans Paid Their Own Pockets. For this reason, Jewels were removed and sold, the rest of the gold skeleton was melting. And when Istanbul was occupied in 1919, the Palaces were looted and Jewels, crowns, necklaces, chests were abducted to other countries.

This is why the Muslim rulers failed as they lost the original practices and developed extreme love for the material wealth. Western Asia is full of the natural resources of gems, but the local people wish to live nomadic lives, this is why they are attacked by others not because they hate others, but because their herds are grazing on gem mines.

Humerah Yousef I would think it had more to do with the new Sultan exterminating all his brothers and later keeping them confined until they succeeded. If they were not trained and educated in statecraft it would be quite difficult for them to rule effectively.

Mughal Empire and Mamluk Empire which gave india the spotlight and rich architecture that Indians are still living on are of Turkish origin,all these Indians take pride in is what Islamic Empires in India did but ironically hate the Muslims in India. India's tourism is almost entirely about magnificent,mesmerising Turkish,Persian architectural sites and Islamic Empirical history that took place in india and this ridiculous ignorant even assumed that Turkey gave some indiain hindu king thier princess in exchange of a bloody throne ! The downfall of Islamic caliphate started when late era Sultans went on their way to luxury rather then a path of struggle. Concubines and jewels with large palaces bought them down. The empire was to provide shelter to oppressed ones...keep simplicity but things changed when they got power. Very sad indeed.
