This one legit almost made me cry, I think the beloved/haunted songs are some of the saddest and something about how you sang “precipice” just did me in. There’s so much grief and longing in these songs it hurts my heart

Oh gosh, everything 🤩 just everything about this. It feels like a culmination of something grand, especially with all the references to past songs The piano at the start feels like a response to the piano from beloved, which makes sense from a clingyduo point of view. Tommy and tubbo have had main character energy from the start, and their themes reflect their inseparable story arcs And when the “I don’t care” appeared I was thrown back to ydad, like dream left his imprint on Tommy down to his patterns of speech. It could also be Tommy twisting dream’s declaration of superiority into a denial of dream’s power over their lives, or alternatively a rebuke to the pessimistic outlook on their future expressed by everyone who said it was never meant to be Not sure if the part about Tommy changing his story is a reference to iacoac, but I’m counting it to add another song to the list 😎 it’s just really cool that there could be a callback to the first original koe dsmp song But good god, the haunted lines get me every time. Haunted still holds a special place in my heart as the song that really convinced me there was something special about this collection and seeing the iconic line show up again is simply amazing Tommy acknowledging his pride was in the way feels like Character Development (TM) since Prometheus. I think techno originally accused quackity of letting his ego get the better of him, but Tommy realizing his own pride was also part of the issue is real growth, which is very satisfying to see And the breath! The pause! The cliffhanger! (ha) right before dream is defeated, ugh it’s so good. Chills man, chills Like I said, this feels like a tying up of an epic storyline. Plus it draws parallels between the disk war finale and ranboo’s death that I had never noticed before. Just fantastic work all around!!
My favorite part was "I will dare to change this story" Like, the music is so sad and soft but the lyric itself is hopeful and awesome while also feeling like trying to do the impossible. It's about surviving and fighting your fate and never giving up but in such a bittersweet way. It's about rebellion and wanting to protect someone and seeing a future you can't reach and fear and ultimately victory. It's just so him.

Kniiiiight! This was absolutely worth all the work and rewriting it took to get it right. This is a such a great finish to the bench trio set of songs. I love how you worked in the Beloved piano in there along with Haunted references in the lyrics. So good! (Good thinking linking both Haunted and Beloved at video's end btw.) It really creates an interesting parallel between the final disc battle and the prison break. I'm going to have to think on that one, I think. The piano chords remind me of Undertale music. They totally add to the sadness in the atmosphere. Also the dramatic pause after you repeat the intro lines is so powerful. It gives me chills every time! The art. Just. Ohhhh, my heart. It's also just objectively beautiful. I think it's my favorite one so far. Thanks for letting me work on this project with you. I so enjoyed it, and the final product is amazing. Fuck, I wish I had stumbled on this song sooner you deserve way more views than this, this is easily one of your best songs and it has been a real joy watching you refine your songs to this point and I hope I'll be able to see you really blow up some day.

I missed the premiere and let me say - this is such a good song. The references to the Disc Finale, the reference to Babel and "What he said was meant to be". And at the end, when you were singing Beloved and Haunted over and over, maybe that symbolizes Tubbo and Ranboo's marriage and Tubbo drifting away from Tommy? At least that's what it looks like to me. 🙂 Also a question - you compared Techno to Prometheus, Quackity to Icarus, Sam to Daedalus. Who would you compare Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo to?
I tried to figure out how to make my random ADD thought could better relate to the song other than involving Tommy... I came up with nothing, so here it is Imagine Tommy's character hearing the part of Techno's will meant for him
