I’ve always wanted to make my own precision bass. I’ve put a couple parts basses together but I’ve never made a solid body of my own. A few years ago I glued up a swamp ash body blank but never got past the glue up. So I picked up a flame maple top to go on that body blank and started on my very own bass. I cannibalized an older bass of mine for it’s electronics and measurements. I didn’t venture into making my own neck for this build, a replacement ‘51 Fender neck did the trick. Maybe I’ll try making a neck on the next one. Let me know if you have any questions on the build. Thanks for watching.
