Its worth it if getting exotic lumber is hard. Im in Kenya and amazon is my go to for cheaper lumber. Mahogany is easy to get in Kenya not the other exotic woods. 🎉
Hey, I'm glad to see your reels! I really like it. We are a CN lighting manufacturer with spot goods in our Thailand and US arehouses. If you wanna DIY panel nights or any lighting products you maybe interest to put on your shelves, welcome to contact me! I think we could have a nice collaboration ;)
This video is well produced and choreographed but the following points should be considered: 1. Need a 14-18" drill bit so hole can be made in one effort 2. Specs indicate line compression values so a compression wrench is needed. ALSO both connectors MUST be secured during tightening. 3. After unit is installed, foam (not supplied putty) seals hole 4. Try a 15' line not 25' 5. Must bend copper piping VERY slowly 6. You must check for gas leaks after connecting pipes ON BOTH ends 7, Provide an additional filter for your intake on top of air handler (interior). 8. Caulk the outside and inside tube flange to weather seal 9. Perhaps a rated refrigerant gas connection copper line sealant should considered to protect against possible leaks in 5-6 years.
Good idea building but not enough technical on the light hook ups. Sequential or the old fashioned way spider webbing back each to the junction? I assume to the latter.
Great video! I have one question. How much of a foot print does your table saw take up in your shop? I'm looking to buy the 52 in rip capacity setup with slider and router table. Get back to me when you can. Thanks!
Looks fantastic but like you said, after the pickguard goes on it's a different story. The only thing that makes sense on a strat (traditional routing where the pickguard must go on) is a Martin style burst where it closely follows the contours of the body.
Awesome job Nick but I wish you would’ve finished it to see the final finish and see what products you used to do the job. What black lacquer, sanding, sealer, and clearcoat product did you use? I am thinking about doing a Strat myself and I really like what you did but I’m new to it and since you are a woodworker, I believe I could trust the products and the process that you would present, I still would like to know the product you would suggest if you could reply to my post. I would really appreciate it. By the way I subscribe to your channel.
People, be careful when using a jigsaw to make a thick cut like this. It may look like you’re cutting square up top but it may be undercutting underneath. A dark veneer between the body and the top would make it pop better.
I am a professional home remodeling contractor, but I love to see what other people are doing wit their projects when I have time. This is faaarrrrrr and away one of the best DIY videos I have ever seen! Not only is the overall production quality excellent, although simple in it s execution, but this guy has taken the time to make very clear explanations and the camera work and sound quality are great! Please keep them coming! 90% of RU-vidrs could learn a hell of a lot from your production example. I cringe at most of the DIY videos out there!
The Wixey is a great unit that I have used for over a decade. I hate the blade calibration method and use a different way. Set the fence anywhere, rip a stable hardwood, and zero the Wixey. Measure the ripped board and back up the fence to negative that measurement. Zero the Wixey again and done. It really is a reliable device that I trust much more than my eyes on the ruler.
Your video make no sense to people who's installing these lights from start to finish, you skipped the connection of the power installation, making you video not very helpful.😮 Comments made by some aren't helpful, people want to see start to finish videos when they don't know this installation, telling them to hire high priced professionals is irritating they want to install it themselves.
