Sir..In our clg using p o p cast for taking impression so while taking impression it gets broken..so how can i get a proper impression

. Plaster of paris cast will break. since set impression compound is harder than POP. Alternately u can try to take the impression with alginate or use a die stone cast. the material that the cast is made of should be stronger than the impression material.

Obviously its to make the impression look good but apparently according my prof its to clearly define the Flanges and to be convenient to do beading and boxing.

manvitha g I think it was from DPI. However check the manufacturing date of the impression compound before buying. The newer the compound , the better will be its properties
