I love how you sense the Predator's excitement when Harrigan enters the scene. He'd slaughtered a whole team without breaking sweat, was ready to add another kill to the score, when this warrior, this challenge appears. You feel his heart racing at the thrill of the hunt. Amazing moment from a fabulous film
Underrated movie, this movie was actually scarier than the first, not better in general than the first, but it definitely has it's really good moments, I love how it also expands predators lore.
Alot of massacres too predator took out serveral ppl at a time in this one and he was a reckless youngblood and I love this movie, yeah original was the best tho
No one will ever top Kevin Peter Halls Predator 1 and 2 performance , just like art in motion the way he moves and the subtle hand movements and handling of his weaponry . Look at the part when hes checking out his camouflage failing under the sprinklers 👌👌👌👌 brilliant ! R.I.P Kevin Peter Hall Aka The OG OG Predator , best ever . He was Jungle Hunter , City Hunter and The Elder Predator . Sci-fi Legend
This one scene with the predator breathing creepily and strutting with menacing confidence as it walks up on Key's is more intimidating and effective than anything in the predator films afterwards. I don't even care that the films are crap but they couldn't even get the nuances of the predator right. I don't think they truly understand what makes the predator the predator. Just slap a load of gore and killing with gadgets ect. The predators that came after feel like cartoon characters compared, that roar like lions on que when their masks are removed to a jaw of over reaching mandibles. It's in the little subtleties of it's cold calculating movements. To know that it is more intelligent than us yet chooses to hunt us as sport. These aspects are conveyed in it's movements and the way it act's and carrie's itself. That's the scary part, not acting like an animal that kills everything on sight. Also that it has morals(not killing the pregnant lady) and a code of honour (not killing harrigan at the end). They are like Indians having the sporadic hunt not a full on warmongering race (as alluded to in The Predator) It's like an agile unforgiving sophisticated stealthy space ninja not some bloodthirsty beast constantly roaring at the camera. I miss Keven Peter Hall and Stan Winston.
I love how the Pred checks his watch at the end, probably thinking, "Yep, can just about squeeze in one last quick kill before my spaceship heads back, probably don't have time to skin bastard though, shame !!"
@moistbaby4454 Kevin Hall the actor who played the Predator in the first 2 was a 7'3 ex basketball player. His size athleticism and screen presence is what made the character Predator so bad ass and realistic
He’s the missing element from all the subsequent Predator movies. The way he moved was alien and menacing. Doesn’t get enough credit. There’s not been a single memorable Predator since him.
This is the reason why i like part 2 better. Then, part one, this was a great fight, and Danny glover killed the predator, unlike part one where the predator blows up
The amount of material left behind during this film, weapons and tech and DNA (part of its arm) they might not have caught it but they were 'compensated'
yes brother this is the channel where I try out the videos before uploading them to the main channel, im uploading a remake of the supergirl superman fight, one I made on my big screen with sound round sound it will be better then the one on the main channel I will will replace it with the one im uploading to this one right now.
