We put a 250 main jet in it. The pilot jet is whatever came in it. We got the carb kit from NR Racing and the carb had a 180 in it, but also came with the 250.

And im assuming thats mikuni jet sizes right?

Seriously, it's a death trap! 😂

Its so hard recommend jet sizes as there are so many variables. I would just put it on and see how the engine reacts. If its surging, it probably needs more fuel and you can usually tell if its too rich by black smoke coming out of the exhaust. once yo get it happy then you need to read the spark plug if you really want to dial it in. Sorry I missed your first comment. There's a lot that goes into adjusting a carb the main jet is really only for when you are riding so it doesn't affect idle quality there are two screws on the side of the carburetor one for air fuel mixture and one for closed slide adjustment for the idle control

Altitude makes a big difference on the main/pilot jet. We were pretty close to sea level where we tuned this bike.

No we removed it when we initially put the 301 on the bike.

What’s the slow jet size? I have a 301cc too with a wide open exhaust and carb but it just pops flames out the exhaust and fuel sprays out the the air filter 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes it is. And holding up well so far. You have to cut the rear oil fill off the side cover of the engine for the plate to fit. not for the feint of heart.

Where did u get to cvt from I got a 301 on mine need cvt straight chain for now 14t had clutch and 72t rear ends up being 5-1 ratio
