@@qui-gontimtherandomraptor1072 Linear games are awesome too (as there are modiocre linear and open world games too). This game is a good cross: open map. Like Moster Hunter. A big area where you have movement and strategic freedom, but not oversize

I think a semi open world similar to concrete jungle would be best

The game Aliens vs. Predator from 2010 has a pretty good campaign where you play as the predator! It's not perfect but it is so fun and satisfying

AvP 2010 is such an underrated game

Predator concrete jungle was so underrated game, it was one of my fav ps2 games back then, unlocked every skin and obtained all weapons, it was short tho, but I found the story concept pretty interesting with potential for a serie after the ending, but few years back I was wondering if a sequel would ever happen, sadly, I found that it's devs are no longer active, so it might never happen, but I hope one day some devs could get the rights to remake the game and proceed to make sequels. I was kinda disappointed that this game didn't have any campaign, but I do hope they improve the game in general in the future, and don't let it die, seems decent to me, but I think it still needs a little bit more work.

@@cynicalgold9992 They really need to make a sequel for that game too, campaigns were pretty damn good but so short, and the multiplayer on that game was also good, but barely any one play it :/

@@cynicalgold9992 You know what ? I'll take you even further. Used to play AVP2 2002 when I was a kid and that game was so fun and terrifying (in a good way). Also one of the first games I played online along with Unreal. Good times

JJ Adey no cause scubs would just spam and it would require no skill. Get good and coordinate the strikes.

@@VirgAlexJunchurriki with the Spear it has a wide radius and can take out multiple guys at the same time so if they don't add a lock on feature players will spam Spear so there's no difference, I see it in videos all the time already, they go in miss with the claws then run off come back and spam Spear sooo.. At least with a lock on for claws more people will use claws and they only take out one at a time.

We'll, I'm not a pro player or anything like that, but I've won most of my games, even as the soldier or the predator. You can't just jump into the fight and pretend to slay the whole soldier squad while being lit up. You have to play sneaky, use your cannon to reduce the soldier's HP, look for the one that's splitting from the main group and kill him, and just going like that, one by one. The soldiers have the advantage at medium-long range, and they DO damage, so it's better for you to use confusion against them. If you rush to a single soldier, you'll kill him, no doubt, but you'll not survive the incoming rounds from the rest of the fireteam

Wouldn't be much of a hunt if we went by movie logic.

Yes

Playing as predator is way more fun than the soldiers tho because you can climb, cloak, and use different abilities.

Just played my first game and got my ass handed to me in about 6 minutes

The optic stealth camo is effective if stand still or move slowly..i can still see em move

I'm enjoying the fireteam more than the predator. Shame we can't have the demo until launch date

Good thing is a beta, so I hope they at least make the camouflage better, it looks bit off too xd

@@csab8642 yeah that game was fantastic, I still go back and play it once in a while. I would like something new though that takes advantage of new engines and new technology to create a more dynamic world for exploration, think destiny in terms of open world on different plants or all across 1 planet.

I'll take this game over Concrete Jungle any day. That game was janky as all get out. I'd love a single player Predator game, but Concrete Jungle is not that game

Not to mention the 3rd person blocks a good part of your view as predator and aiming the plasma caster can be tough sometimes if you don't want to charge and fire. Seeing the Yautja is cool and all but make the view optional to use

Concrete Jungle at least has a story. This game is just another cash grab for multiplayer junkies.

not only that but when i played on ps4 the framerate was horrible i could not tell what was going on half the time

Not underpowered more like its just because how the person is playing

I think the predator should be deadlier like he can kill someone in 1 hit but it look like he cant do that, easy to detected and get hit all the time.

In game the damage values should not change Just less hp for humans, basic assault can facetank predator and AI

@@TienTran-uq6to The damage seems fine to me. Kinda used to that number of hits to kill a human in a Predator game anyways. What they need to do instead is cutback on the knockback and have the melee attacks slow down the enemy. Its a little too easy to strafe around while getting hit here.

Technically a solo private match can be considered "offline", but I'm pretty sure the only real offline part is the tutorial
