I Really don't think it's accurate to say that tubbo broke techno's trust. technoblade shot tubbo when they were allies, tubbo was one of the people who'd Asked techno about how he felt about them taking l'manberg back (rather than destroying it) and his response was that they'd "burn that bridge when they got there," then WILBUR announced that they were reinstating the government and tried to give the presidency to tommy and then tubbo. which in response technoblade Directly targeted both tommy and tubbo, partnered with dream to blow l'manberg up and shoot people more, and then left promising to come back and destroy them if they went through with making a new government, which they did. you can argue that pogtopia should have Forced the conversation about government when they realized that techno's goals were different, but in the end Techno was directly confronted tommy, tubbo, quackity, fundy, and even Wilbur at the beginning saying Directly that they fully intended on getting l'manberg back and reinstating the presidency. both in front of him and directly To him. tommy and tubbo Never promised him that they weren't going to make a government and in fact they were very open about it. and wilbur never actually tried to trick Techno. he was tricking the rest of the pogtopians into thinking they'd won before blowing it all up. he didn't think that they'd ever rebuild l'manberg afterwards and that's exactly Why he tried to give tommy the presidency and why he gave tubbo the presidency. the act of betrayal there wasn't between tubbo and techno, it was between wilbur and the people who believed in him. after that point there is literally no reason for techno to have any trust in tubbo or vice versa. what the butcher army did was Bad, murder isn't okay even when you're scared (and they were Scared. scared of techno and scared Especially of dream), but it wasn't a Betrayal Of Trust. Techno is the one who eroded that trust between him and tubbo. first by shooting him as an ally, second by refusing to talk to him about their difference in goals (making tubbo Falsely believe that there wasn't a problem), and thirdly turning on tubbo the second that Wilbur gave him the presidency, calling tubbo a tyrant when he didn't ask for power and didn't know what the job even Meant ("I'll be honest, I don't know what a president does.). techno should've been angry with the Adult who pushed that label onto him, and he wasn't. he should've held Wilbur accountable if he held anybody accountable, and he didn't. the situation with tommy and techno can be read a million ways depending on how you read into techno's intentions and his underlying emotions, but I've written Many Many essays about that so I reckon that getting into it here would be a bit too long flajksd

@@tobimisa You make a really good point. I was more thinking about the whole murder bit. And Techno as a character is pretty much the hero of his own story- but yeah Tubbo didn't really betray his trust

I’ve found it a morbid kind of ironic that Techno’s channel spread so much more after his passing. I think he had that in mind, however, as the last video he made was, in my opinion, designed to spread his name to be heard by newcomers, and then lock his memory in long-time fans permanently.

Its always the ones that leave bigger impacts that get taken away first. Make sure you take care of yourself !!
