From the motion picture soundtrack of Predator, composed by Alan Silvestri. THIS PARTICULAR TRACK was not featured on the bootleg soundtrack, only on the real version. I do not know why, as it is a great track.
John McTiernan is a REALLY good director. He made Die Hard too. But got himself into some legal trouble and ended up being blacklisted from Hollywood. Damn shame.
0:45 Alan Silvestri is really years ahead of any other composer ive ever heard, the soundtrack of this movie is gripping, tense, misterious, creepy...after 33 years from original release, this movie is still uncomparable, they found the perfect mix to make a hit film! You will not find something like this anymore, so everybody, enjoy it!
couldn't agree more. I am a writer, of particular themes. I often listen to this sound track as a sound track to my stories. Also the Planet of the Apes soundtrack by Danny Elfman.
Stevo Browne In what context? Sorry, I agree with you, one of the greatest film lines ever, but what could you possibly use it for without sounding like you are getting ready to go kill a big ass alien? LOL
1:05 Anna: "there's something else, when the big man was killed. You must have wounded it, it's blood was on the leafs" Dutch: "If it bleeds...We can kill it".
this is amazing, kick ass music when the make the trap, god bless the 80s...one of my favourites for sure...." Instead of complaining, maybe you should help...."
I think you can really feel the desperation in Dutch Billy Dillon and the rest, as they lay the traps, they realize that somewhere out there something wants their lives and that they are fighting for survival
2:07 Dillion :" so you really think this boy scout bullshit gonna work ? " Dutch : "if he couldn't see our trip wires. Maybe he can't see this. Instead of complaining. Maybe you should help." Dillon : "Huh"
one of the best track and passage of the movie. I got it on the one i bought a couple of months ago. Can't stop listening to this soundtrack, it gave me so much motivation for my workouts...
02:25: Dillon: Do you really think we're going to get them scout traps? Dutch: He can not see the camouflaged ropes. You could help instead of just criticize

My cousin and I used to run the Predator film score whilst playing Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. I can't tell you how much it added to the experience. The only thing I dislike about Predator is that I've already seen it.
Este som remete os primórdios, onde o homem sobrevivia pois se preparava para o combate. É a essência da soberania contra as intempéries naturais que tentam subjulgá-lo.
0:45 "Only in the hottest years this happens, and this year it grows hot..." "...El diablo cazador de hombres means: The demon who makes trophies of man"
Lieutenant Billy Sole: That boar has to set off a trip flare, Major, because there ain’t no other tracks. Jorge “Poncho” Ramirez: How can anyone get through this, carry out Blain without us knowing it? Why didn’t he try and kill one of us? Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: He came in to get the body. He’s killing us one at a time. Lieutenant Billy Sole: Like a hunter. Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: He’s using the trees. Yesterday. What did you see? Colonel Al Dillon: You’re wasting your time. Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: No more games. Anna Gonslaves: I don’t know what it was. It- Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: Go on. Anna Gonslaves: It changed colors like the chameleon. It uses the jungle. Colonel Al Dillon: You saying that Blain and Hawkins were killed by a fucking lizard? That’s a bullshit psych job. There’s two or three men out there the most. Fucking lizard! Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: What’s your name? Anna Gonslaves: Anna. Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: Anna, this thing is hunting us, all of us. You know that. Colonel Al Dillon: What the hell do you think you’re doing? We’re gonna need everyone. I’m taking her back. We’re out of here in five minutes. Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: We’re not going yet. Colonel Al Dillon: Look. The rendezvous is 10 to 12 miles away from here. Do you think the chopper’s gonna wait? Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: Dillon, we make a stand now, or there will be nobody left to go the chopper. Anna Gonslaves: There is something else. When the big man was killed, you must’ve wounded it. Its blood was on the leaves. Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: Its blood was on the leaves. If it bleeds, we can kill it. Colonel Al Dillon: You ready think this Boy Scout bullshit’s gonna work? Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer: It can see our trip wires. Maybe it can’t see this. Instead of complaining, maybe you should help.
