You have some good takes but I think you made the AFC too top heavy with 6 12+ win teams. I personally think the browns, jets and Texans will be more middle of the pack teams. I think the chargers and colts could both end up with 8 or 9 wins.
I think the problem with the Texans is that last year they were playing a 4th place schedule, this year they're on a 1st place schedule. Night and day difference in strength of schedule. I think they'll be a better team than last year, but their record won't reflect that.

We went 9-8 with awful coaching and no run defense. We have new coaching, which I don't think could be worse than what we had last year. Just not possible. Our offense is the same with a more modern scheme, and we got better on defense both in players and coaching. MacDonald is gonna be calling plays on D, and we've seen him as a DC, so we know what we're getting there.

Good video but I just don't see Texans beating the Chiefs in the AFC championship of all places. I can't see Reid being out-coached by Ryans, Mahomes outplayed by Stroud, or the Texans O-line withstanding the Chiefs D-line. Too many things will have to go right for them to win and I just don't see them getting lucky enough for that to happen.
Seahaks are not incredible, by any means… but they are being slept on… they have gotten a good new coaching group, and have drafted some players that might do some positive damage… I have them going 9-8 at the lowest, and 11-6 at the highest…
Titans going 3-14 with a MUCH better roster going into this year than they had last year is freaking WILD 😂😂 The one downgrade was RB. Everything else...WRs, Secondary, O-Line was upgraded
Levis is still unproven, the only certified upgrade on the O-line was Cushenberry, because Latham is very unproven, they have almost no pass rush outside of Simmons, and their linebacking room is terrible. If Levis and the other rookies/young players really exceed expectations, than maybe the Titans win more than 3 games, but I personally don't see that happening this year.
@simplyfootballyoutube with a worse receiving corps, and a rotating turnstile at Center and especially left tackle, Will Levis still found a way to go 3-6 in games he started last season. 2 of those 6 losses were in OT, and Seattle and Pitt went down to the WIRE. Now he has a MUCH better receiving corps, and I don't need to see a snap from Latham to say he's already better than anyone we put there last season. Tie in the fact that 14 of the 17 opponents Tennessee faced last year finished the season with winning records, and we added Bill Callahan...who is regarded as one of the best O-lline coaches in NFL history (look him up) I get what you're saying about Levis being unproven. That is correct. You're also correct about the linebackers. But Levis is set up this year almost as well as Caleb Williams. But Tennessee is and always will be a national media afterthought. Which is why it's so easy to assume they'll be terrible. That's the easy conclusion. But it's not the logical conclusion
First time ive heard anyone say the Seahawks are overated! Ive not heard anyone talking the seahawks up...everyone is down on them...i think they are actually underrated and could sneak a wild card spot
Seattle never gets overrated. They always get predicted to go 5-12, 6-11, or 7-10 and they always exceed the expectations. So I don’t know what you are thinking but they are very underrated AND forgotten about

As a Chiefs fan, I gotta love the optimism with the Texans. Idk above their playoff run going that far, but if there was any team in the AFC I want to see in the SB besides my own, it's definitely the Texans. Same goes for the Lions in the NFC.

And on defense, we still have Jaquan McMillan, Zach Allen, Alex Singleton, Jonas Griffith, DJ Jones, Nick Bonito, and Jonathan Cooper. All he's doing is jumping on the hate train because someone told him to due to how bad the Russ trade went. The defenses in the NFL usually make adjustments based on the films they get throughout the season, so unless CJ Stroud improves himself and adjusts to the defense he is facing, he won't succed. Not many 2nd year QBs do.

1st of all, love your enthusiasm for the game and confidence in your team. There's nothing wrong with hoping for the best for your own squad. Having said that, it's important to understand how drastically things can change in the NFL in the blink of an eye. Look no further than 1 of my favorite teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars. From week 14 2022 until week 13 2023 the jags were 14-4 . Ending 2022 winning 6 straight, including a unbelievable come from behind win to secure their 1st playoff W in god knows how long? B4 the chiefs ended their season. Confidence was at an all time high and Jax was 8-3 in sole possession of the #1 seed in the AFC. Then the sky literally came down on their heads. Besides Josh Hines-Allen, Devin Lloyd, Foyesade and travon walker, nobody on their defense could do anything right. Their o-line forgot how to block, and Trevor literally just started handing the rock to their opponents b4 they even hit him. They lost 5 of 6, including 3 terrible disgusting losses to backup quarterbacks and missed the playoffs. That's how quickly a season can turn to complete shite in the NFL. Not saying Houston is doomed, but its important to remember that every other team also has professional athletes on their rosters, and last season don't mean shit anymore. Can't wait for week 1 to kickoff though, can't friggin wait!! 🤘

Not going to lie, I dont think the Bengals will lose to Texans in this scenario for two reasons. The Bengals beat the Titans when they were Number 1 seed with elite defense/Derrick Henry first game back. Second, The Bengals are insane team on the road. They beaten Titans, Chiefs and Bills on the road. Anyways, good rankings!

They will max out at 10 wins.. my money is 9-8 ( or maybe 8-9)... Indi will win more than six games ( 8 or 9) and the steelers probably 10.. the rest of the AFC records predictions seem accurate. As a Panthers fan, we will be doing well to win 3 games. We have THE worst owner in the NFL who is roundly hated here in the Charlotte area. His narcissistic personality, antics away from football (throwing a drink at a fan, bullying a restaurant employee in Charlotte), as well as making no effort whatsoever to improving our team. Zero! After 30 seasons in the NFL, the Panthers have never had back-to-back winning seasons. We see nothing changing anytime soon.

I genuinely think you're onto something with the Texans. I think them, the Ravens and *maybe* the Bengals are the main teams that can take the Chiefs. The dark horse are the dolphins if they get the 1 seed and get people to come to them so they can stay in the heat. There is no possible chance the AFC North will have 47 total wins. That has never happened before for a division and will not happen this year. Jets prediction is optimistic and Bears prediction is pesamistic. Other than that, solid predictions.
