@joelpierce1453 as a chargers fan, I will say you are both correct and incorrect, as it is an ownership problem as to why we haven't done anything of note in years,but I want to believe spanos(eff...you) is actually trying, with Harbaugh and protecting Justin Herbert, and immediately drafting WR with the next pick, flashes of good decisions, I'm just curious of how the season will go, cuz it is entirely possible to go 2nd in the division and a wild card spot (kc probably #1)

@@devious_graves I was a fan until they left town. Having heard from some former NFL coaches and players (including Ryan Leaf, funny enough), ownership has a bigger impact than we tend to think. Some ownership groups just don't care about winning, because it ultimately makes little difference in their pocketbooks. I had a long conversation a couple years ago with a guy who coached for Snyder's Redskins and he told me exactly that.

Nah... Teams always have a way of drawing you in, just to destroy your hopes again a few games later. The exact moment that the Panthers win 2 games in a row, or beat a couple of really good Teams... Everyone will be all in, only to have the rug pulled out from under them again

@@bkg5494 I mean, while I personally think it’s SB or bust, whether you want to acknowledge it or not, the Vikings reached the the conference championship as soon as 2018 and the divisional as soon as 2020, while the bears reached either as soon as 2010 and haven’t reached the divisional round since 2010. In terms of the media perception, the Vikings have been far more successful than the bears in recent years.

My Bears went from losing 14 straight games to finishing the season 5-3 over the last 9 weeks (should've been 7-1), and the main problem was the defense which was corrected and played great during that stretch, especially because we started getting pressure on QBs after the Sweat trade. I feel like the Bears got even better this offseason, but the success relies completely on how good Caleb looks.

As a chiefs fan since 1990, I want my chiefs to be on top every year. That hasn't happened till the 2019/2020 season. I also know, that eventually my chiefs will be knocked off the football 🏈 mountain. Then whatever team replaces them, will be despised by the majority of fans. It's a vicious circle.

I respect your opinion. I know your intake of football information is way more than mine and your analysis is also superior to mine. However, as a Titans fan I have to input my bias bs and (un)professional evaluation. The Titans line was that bad. Our coaching last year, although appreciated for their service, were behind the 8 ball. Callahan and crew are going to surprise everyone. Fun fact: it has been 20 years since the last time the NFC East Champions repeated as division Champions the following season. While you could certainly use this as ammunition to argue the Eagles will win the division, I think you've highlighted a lot of reasons to be optimistic about Washington this season. That's a tough division to have O Line concerns in, but if they can keep Daniels upright and the New signings mesh well I could see the Commies shocking everyone with a surprise 12-5 division title

Panthers fan here: Burns was basically invisible for the entire season because he only cared about getting a new contract and Jackson is for some reason highly overrated by fans of other teams. You might think they're big losses from the outside, but trust me, their production is easily replaced. I mean hell, DJ Wonnum had the same amount of sacks as Burns had last year.

Everyone projects the browns to do worse with starting qb play from Watson. The back up qbs were not good and turned the ball over more than any other team, but the defense was elite and carried the team. The defense is still great, the browns aren’t going away.

As a Panther fan I’m more annoyed with the talk surrounding Burns more than the trading up for Bryce. Derek Brown deserves WAY more recognition for being the biggest talent on our defense last season. Same goes for Frankie Luvu (more pissed losing him than Burns)
