Just based off the way player overall ratings have worked in the past for every football game. Travis will be over a 95. He will have a 90+ in every skill category both offensive and defensive.
Looking at it that way I agree but from this perspective I looked at solely power rankings. I probably should have considered your approach for him at least.
@alanamaya1669 congrats you are the winner of the giveaway. Since I really do not want to dox anyone I will need a venmo, paypal or cashapp to transfer you the giveaway winnings.
I'd be a bit surprised if both Quinshon Judkins or Emeka Egbuka aren't 95+ Overalls, if not both. I would also bet that Omarion Hampton and Travis Hunter are 95+ Overalls (Especially Travis Hunter.) I also think Ewers is a lock to be a 95+ Overall
I considered most of them but after seeing how many players were at 95+ they have been stingy in the past, not to say that doesn't change. Also Hampton was a lock for me but I somehow glossed over him when recording... and Egbuka was a big surprise to me as well but looking at the power rankings he didn't make the cut.
I tossed that idea around but looking at any power rankings he was rarely a top 5 at either position and he was never ranked in the top 25 in totality. Had to cut some people out but maybe I am wrong about that one!
I think you miss one kid.. The RB for the North Carolina Tar Hills Omarion Hampton #28... this kid as a True Freshman ran for 1905yds & 21 TD That's better in yards then Ollie Gordon II and tied in TDs with 21.. I think he will be up there.. the kid is explosive and with every touch could take it to the house!!! Remind me of a Penn state's #26 S. Barkley... ijs .. check out his Highlights and stats.. @cswee123
You are 100% correct I had him in my list and completely missed him when recording. Wow I cannot believe it... well he was in the 98 overall group if it makes you feel any better lol
Thank you! I tried to be as unbiased it helps when I am a UK alum and fan since we don't really have top players lol. But I would hope so, kinda similar to baseball with Ohtani it is the hot thing right now. I was curious how they would handle two way players, in NCAA 14 they could play positions but if they were not in their main one their awareness suffered a lot.
Mason Graham DT for Michigan will be a 95 or 96. The other Wolverine DT Kenneth Grant will be only a few points behind that. I understand if Donovan Edwards is a 93-94 based on last year, but i think he's going to surprise people if the new o-line gels right away. He's one of those backs who I think gets better when they get in a rhythm and he'll be the #1 guy this year.
I agree, the B10 and SEC will probably have ~80% of the top 200 players. Especially since they want to make it feel more realistic you can't have 90's all over the place
Did I miss him or is Mason Graham really not on list? He is the best interior lineman in nation, top 2 DL like Will is considered CB, won award last year for it and considered a possible top 5-pick in next years nfl draft
Not on the list, we based of power rankings and the places we looks he was good. We also grouped all DL together and from what I could tell he was the third as a whole. Not perfect but tried to have it be "data" driven rather than my own opinion.
@@Ish393 yeah just looked at it. Missed a few but out of the 19 I selected (I have 18 in the video since I forgot to put in Hampton) I got 13/19. Pretty good I do believe! Definitely didn’t get the order right and missed Graham. But all in all good attempt
I wanted to put him up there badly, but (at least in the last 4 games) there hasn't been a HB that high and there were only ever two 99's. Also not being in the SEC or B10 I think may have hurt him indirectly.
I went back and forth on that, but I was too unsure how they would handle the two way part. As a CB he is 95+ but as a WR I see it holding him back so if they average it I think it goes below 95.
Haven't seen that yet (I am no expert btw) when I was looking at different ranking. I could have read it incorrectly but regardless he is still a great player both ways!
I could’ve made a case for either but after looking at the numbers from previous games the list was too small. Also neither of those guys are looked at as a top 2-3 player at their position right now
@cswee123 Let it be known. I respect your opinion, but I just can't see it. Travis is arguably the best all-around athlete in college football and plays 2 way!?!?! Quinn is a 3-year starter that's improved each year and has the numbers to prove it... There's no way EA has them both under a 95...
Valid points, someone pointed out the rating of Hunter and he will likely be 90+ in most categories so just by that he will more than likely end up >95. And I agree with that. But Quinn was on the edge, I tried to keep my personal views out of it and go off the rankings mostly.
Valid point, down the road I will consider that. The videos I thought separated themselves well enough but I did notice a few instances where the green of the field blended in too well. Thanks for the input.
Idk much about college football at least I terms of the players but I’m extremely excited, also your commentary is top notch and makes the video interesting to listen to and watch.
