While I normally agree with Albert... I gotta agree with Bertal this time. Putting Athens Dash in the Feather Cup feels extremely likely due to how prevalent feathers are in Greek art, and Wave 4 showed that the city and original tracks are all going to match the prefix leak, no matter how they're shuffled around. And Albert made a good point that I haven't seen anyone else mention, that being that including Piranha Plant Cove as the final course of the Cherry Cup would mean that there are four lap-switching tracks in Wave 5, which is too many. To balance it out, put Piranha Plant Cove in Wave 6 so that there are three each. Rant over, I agree with Bertal
I think if a city isn’t going to be released on time, they’ll change it so that there is 3 lap switching tracks in Waves 5 and 6 (Athens Dash, Los Angeles Laps and Piranha Plant Cove in Wave 5 and Vancouver Velocity, Madrid Esplanade and Rio De Janeiro in Wave 6)
I mean, you have a point, but I don't think 4 lap switching tracks is too many, as long as they are unique, but you never know, the bathroom track or any other unreleased track could be a lap switching track

Wave 5 isn't "summer themed". It just happens to be releasing in summer. Besides, it's winter in the Southern Hemisphere, so Vancouver Velocity will cover them.
@@mariobroultimate1808 I’m not saying it won’t happen (honestly, it’s starting to seem more likely), but I think the only reason they’d actually want to push Vancouver Velocity forward to Wave 5 is so that people can finally play one of the most beloved city courses early (similar thing probably happened with Bangkok Rush in wave 4), otherwise, it doesn’t make that much sense to put it in Wave 5 Also, the weird part might not even be releasing a winter track in the “summer season” (Snow Land has already done that before), but rather, the lack of any winter tracks in wave 6, when Merry Mountain was in wave 3 (especially when it’s the only city track that’s also snow-themed)
For surprise additions, I think they should either add new items and/or maybe improve the earlier Waves graphics or something. Anyways, these are definitely the most logical predictions I've seen for this Wave!
Very interesting! I still think that Athens Dash will be in Wave 5, but I won't be that suprised if it doesn't. As for new items, Mega Mushroom is a must have addition, but I think a much better item instead of the Bowser Shell would be the Fake Item Box.

Koopa Cape is my favourite wii track and I’m actually more scared then excited for Koopa cape. In 7 even though they removed the best part, at least the track still looked nice. I got hope though because every wii track has been a banger (except for mostly coconut mall)

Here’s the thing with piranha plant cove. In wave 1 they dropped a tour nitro that was already in the game, wave 2 they dropped a brand new one that came to tour later on, in wave 3 they dropped one that was already in tour, wave 4 they dropped a new one again that came to tour at a later date. Piranha plant cove would be the one nitro that’s as already in the game nitro ending off the cherry cup

I have daisy cruiser in wave 6 because Im 100% positive the mobdk track (Daisy themed) will be the final track in this wave. Its supposed to come out like 2 weeks after most people predict this wave to come out, just like sky high sundae and yoshis island. I'm also really confident that Piranha plant cove is gonna be classified as a tour track like the cities opposed to a nitro like merry mountain because of its three lap design.

There's evidence towards a Halloween course being the last new non-city course to come to Tour (at least for the Booster Course Pass), though it's only a theory. The original selection for wave 6 also included two autumn courses, Vancouver Velocity and Maple Treeway, according to datamines.

Particularly, vehicles from past Mario Kart games, including Tour; such as... - Wild Wing (Mario Kart Wii) - Flame Flyer (Mario Kart Wii; Cameo'd in Bangkok Rush) - Royale (Mario Kart DS; Cameo'd in Bangkok Rush) - Etc. After all, someone online brought about such a possibility when detailing the Mario Kart Hot Wheels toys.
I see people do Predictions but here's my official prediction... Feather Cup 🪶: Athens Dash would be a good start because feathers are associated with Greek Mythology and other cultures. GBA Sunset Wilds 🏜️: It's leaked to be the third track of the Feather Cup, but it will be the second track of the Feather Cup. Let me explain. The second course of the first cup of a wave is a simplistic course that's easy. These courses include, Toad Circuit, SNES Mario Circuit 3, Boo Lake, and Riverside Park, which Sunset Wilds could fit perfectly there. Koopa Cape 🐢: Koopa Cape fits summer because there's all that water flow and stuff, but people hate the underwater section, but I actually like it because it's unique, plus we may see the first and only underwater half-pipe in the entire game too! This next one will be something... Piranha Plant Cove 🌿 Thanks To Petey Piranha coming to wave 5 the last track pf the feather cup may not be LA Laps because Petey is associated with Piranha Plant Cove which may switch spots with another city track so Piranha Plant Cove could end the Feather Cup, and I see this happening because the Fruit Cup ended with a Nitro which Waves 1-3's First Cup's last tracks ended with a retro, including Coconut Mall, Waluigi Pinball, and Maple Treeway, and speaking of Maple Treeway, we may see another prefix leak change here do I'm keeping Piranha Plant Cove! SNES Bowser Castle 3: 🌋 🏰 Kamek is the last of the 3 characters to return to Wave 5 and he is part of Bowser's Minions which Bowser of Course has a castle, plus WE NEED A BOWSER'S CASTLE SOON!!! (Prefixs may change like Wave 4. All of Wave 4's retro Prefixes were correct, but none of them were at the correct spots.) Squeaky Clean Sprint 🧼 🧽 🛁 Finally, Squeaky Clean Sprint or the rumored MOBbr track, would end off Wave 5 and the prefix leak would only make sense. The course has many alternate paths, heck, There's even 2 finish banners (I think) at the End/Start of the lap, Just like Mario Kart 7's Bowser Castle! One last thing. I think for Wave 6 Hammer Bro and Kamek will probably have the most heated discussion over who gets in since both of them were cut in Mario Kart before. If we get Hammer Bro, I can definitely see the other bros getting added as alts (boomerang, fire, ice). Also maybe we could get the Taxi kart, wheels, and glider for Pauline if Nintendo doesn't connect LA Laps to her.

Personally, I think that the Wii course for wave 5 will be Toad’s Factory. As it currently stands, Koopa Cape is WAY too similar to Rock Rock Mountain (mountains are made out of rocks, Albert), so what course could Nintendo pull out of Mario Kart Wii in a similar style to DS ur circuit that won’t clash whatsoever, AND will be perfect difficulty-wise? Hmmm… Moonview Highway is a city… we don’t need another circle… and nobody wants ANOTHER Desert course… so that just leaves us with… Toad’s Factory. “But the banner leak has-” That’s just Sky High Sundee. BTW, there’s two rumors that you should take note of: First one being that mobDK will stand for Daisy Kingdom. Honestly I kinda agree since Donkey Kong feels too easy of an answer to this mystery. (GCN DK MOUNTAIN FOR LIFE!) Second one is that the one nitro we nothing about is probably just another retro course. Which one? IDK, there’s too many to choose from, but if I had to choose one… it would be… 3DS Rosalina’s Ice World. If your prediction is somehow lord please have mercy on me and Vancouver ends up being in wave 5… then what will the Christmas course be? Not much other than this one. (Maybe another Christmas themed course? But then again, people who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it… like with DS ur circuit.) Ninja Hideaway is my least favorite course BTW, it’s way too unbalanced, sorry not sorry.
Toad’s Factory is not happening, since there has been so sign of the track even hinted for Tour. Every retro track in the Booster Course Pass has had files for Tour.
I already was like 60% sure the snes track would be bowsers castle but now after seeing how the track is practically anti gravity in mario kart tour I am seriously like 97% sure.
I really hope it's Dry Dry Ruins or Daisy Circuit, so I can laugh in everyone's faces for telling me I'm WRONG for hoping for other tracks other than KOOPA CAPE
Fo the ID-Theory: Why should someone deciding on what characters to put in his game do it one by one, as they are lined up in another game (And don't say they lined them up in the cups because they decided long ago wich of them should be in 8 Deluxe. That's defintely not the case. Would they have planned putting additional characters into the BCP from the beginning they would have put one in every wave. They clearly came up with that idea only halfeway through the pass). Wouldn't it be much more natural to pick characters the people like most to make the most profit from this to just doing it one by one from some files? That could mean exactly two things: 1. It's pure coincidence and doesn't relate at all 2. They do it one by one because it doesn't matter in the end, because they plan on doing all of them in the end anyway. In another booster pass? Or maybe one or more pure charakter DLC's`? Could that mean more content is confirmed to come? I can dream, canI?
Great prediction this time around! I still personally think Bowser Castle 3 would be switched to Wave 6, so I would personally put Mushroom Bridge in its place and then Daisy Cruiser as the second track of the Cherry Cup. I don't think it would clash too hard with other water tracks in the wave, since it would be the only one of its kind in one cup. However, I also think this prediction finally sold me on Athens Dash being moved to Wave 6. I previously still thought it would open the Feather cup, with LA Laps ending it, but I think your explanation of balancing out the Tour nitros between this wave and Wave 6 increases its chance significantly of being in Wave 6. That was always the weirdest part of the prefix leak for me. As for the characters, I really like this Cup ID Theory! I'd been scratching my head the whole time trying to find some explanation for what the characters could be, and this makes sense! Sad that it would mean no Funky Kong, and *especially* sad that King Bob-omb would miss out by just one slot, but it is what it is. I definitely agree that the most likely additional change would be new items. I think that the most likely are the Bowser Shell and the Fake Item Box, though I'd be fine with the latter being swapped with the Mega Mushroom or the Heart. I really, REALLY hope you're right about Bangkok Rush being changed, because it was the biggest disappointment of the entire BCP for me, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. I still think the Battle Courses are a possibility (four for each wave) but wouldn't call them "likely." Unsure what exactly they would be, but if the Cup ID Theory is correct, New York Minute B would (unfortunately) fit with Pauline.
At the same time, making Wave 6 *extra* special and different from the other Waves, and they might also be preparing us for Wave 6 being full of Nitros with them including 3 city trcks for Wave 4&5, making you more used to Waves full of Tour tracks… Also with the new items thing, Fake Item Boxes aren’t even in Tour, so they’re 100% not coming…

16:29 We know pretty much for certain that the Petey Piranha Cup will be at the very end of the list, after the Mii Cup. We know this because all the cup IDs after the MK8DX drivers are ordered mostly by the internal driver IDs assigned to every driver (except for the Poochy Cup which is slightly out of order but nowhere near as much as if the Petey Piranha Cup were cup 38). We even have a good candidate for cup 38 already, which is an unreleased driver. We don't know what this driver is but we know it's a normal rarity which would indicate it's likely something like a baby or a basic enemy like maybe Paratroopa. But either way, I think the fact that the cups are ordered by other internal IDs completely disproves cup ID theory, since driver IDs and even the cup IDs themselves seem to simply be ordered how they were developed which has no reason to be connected to the BCP
Wait, sorry, I made a mistake, the normal driver I was talking about is actually for cup 44. Cup ID 38 is actually most likely to be the Captain Toad Cup but the point still stands
Honestly they should add a harder difficulty setting to vs mode because when playing by yourself this game is waaaay too easy which makes the race less engaging. This is why I will always prefer Mario kart wii and double dash because you are bombarded with items making the races more engaging while in mario kart 8 I'm just in 1st place the whole time.

Here are the things you didn't get right: 1: Daisy Cruiser, not Mushroom Bridge 2: Koopa Cape was the third track in the Cherry Cup, not Feather. 3: Two cities in the Cherry Cup. LA Laps was wrong as it was the first in the Cherry Cup, and Vancouver was partially correct as it was the second in said cup. 4: No Bowser Castle 3 in Wave 5, was replaced with Moonview Highway 5: The bathroom nitro was the Feather Cup finale, not the Cherry.

I really hope that they changed their minds on Koopa Cape since while I like Koopa Cape I know it would be underwhelming. I would rather them remake it in Mariokart 9 where the graphics are better but idk
TBH, I don’t think that will happen, I think Nintendo knows that the four Wii tracks that already returned in Mario Kart 7 are the four most beloved tracks from Wii, period, and since three out of the four are already in the game, might as well also bring back the fourth one, I guess
The suprise addition they should add is shorten the time you wait after falling on DK's Snowboard Cross' second hole after the bumps section. This takes way too long.
Honestly, both yours and your twin’s are quite likely, since the selection only has one change between both of them. Considering everything, I think some are either lock-ins, or unknown until additional information is given. In terms of release date, I don’t think it’ll release in June, there may be a teaser, or even a full trailer in that month, between this week, and the final week of June, and August would be too late, considering Wave 4 released 3 months after Wave 3, the 28th, 29th or 30th of July is possibly the latest, with the 5th, 6th or 7th of July being the earliest it could release, as that would be 4 months after Wave 4. Battle stages would be awesome, but Bangkok Rush definitely deserves an update in multiple mechanics, items is likely the last thing for Nintendo, but I‘m just hoping that they announce it soon, there’s too many videos coming out, so hopefully, we’ll get something. Delfino square would be a beautiful course that could fit the lap modification system (like Kalamari desert and Peach Gardens) really well and it’s remixed music would be a banger. I will admit that I feel like my Feather Cup is looking more complex than the Cherry Cup, which was one of the reasons I wasn't entirely satisfied with my line-up, so I'm just gonna assume Sunset Wilds gets a makeover and the Bathroom nitro is incredibly chaotic lol!
Well I think putting Vancouver Velocity in Wave 5 might be a good move to be honest because tour dataminers found that a Rio track is Coming in the middle of July (using ID gap theory) so I think it will be set in the night with the Carnival atmosphere so what I think I think Madrid will take Vancouver's Velocitys place in the Acorn Cup and I think that the Rio track will end up in the Blue Spiny Cup.
Just seems a bit weird to have the only snow city track not release in wave 6 Yes, I know plenty of snow tracks weren’t released in the northern hemisphere winter season either, but it’s a track literally based on Vancouver, Canada, so having that specific snow track release in the summer instead would seem… odd And, while not as big of a reason at this point… what track’s gonna fill in the “Acorn” part of the Acorn Cup now? Maple Treeway was already swapped to Wave 3, so I assumed Vancouver Velocity would be the “Acorn” part of the Acorn Cup now (but then again, I’m pretty sure a lot of people also assumed Sydney Sprint would be in the Boomerang Cup) I’m not entirely counting out the possibility, because of how much Nintendo probably knows that people love this track specifically, so I guess they could release it early in Wave 5 anyway regardless of those reason
@@jomaq9233 Well Nintendo Could potentially make Madrid a clash of Autumn and Summer possibly to represent the season that Wave 6 could possibly release in which is the Fall.

My prediction: The Feather cup will feature Athens Av...Dash (because feathers and Greece) and the Cherry cup will be North American themed with both Vancouver Velocity and Los Angeles Laps. It could look like this: FEATHER: -Athens Dash -Koopa Cape -Bowser Castle 3 -Piranha Plant Cove CHERRY -Vancouver Velocity -Sunset Wilds -Mushroom Bridge -Los Angeles Laps
