Honestly my main wants (that aren’t announced already) are Pauline (even if I’ll still main Daisy), tag battles (unlikely but I think all games should have it, it’s such a fun switch up like in MP8, and the team names are so fun!)
I like how the "Los Angeles will be the Wave 4 ending track because it would be a teaser for the summer" argument ended up being valuable… but for Vancouver Velocity being a teaser for Wave 6 being winter themed. It was here all along…
I'm glad DS Mario Circuit was your number one favorite choice. This Mario Circuit was actually my first ever Mario Circuit I ever race on in Mario Kart DS. And I also love the music in that course!

3:03 I strongly disagree, it has an upbeat yet tense tone that adds a touch of stress to the games on Thwomp Desert in general, especially when the final minute version kicks in.

11th place for wii mario circuit is wild. It has so many great characteristics that you didn't mention like 2 sets of item boxes so you can get a mushroom and do the shortcut, trying to push the lightweights into the chain chomp, doing the greatest comeback of your life driving between trees with a golden mushroom on lap 3. It's chaotic like all the mario kart wii tracks and that's why I think it should be in the top 5
I know it's practically a meme game, but what are your opinions of the two Mario Circuit equivalents from the Mario Kart Arcade series - Mario Highway and Mario Beach? I know they don't share the "Circuit" suffix but I liked how unique their theming was for Mario courses.
Side note, but am I the only one that lowkey hates that the mario circuits from GCN onward are basically Peach Circuits? Like why is mario stealing Peachs theme and getting away with it in every game (specially in the case of 7's having you go into her castle), give him his own generic theme like he had in snes and Mario Raceway and let Peach have her castle like in Royal Raceway lmao (Which I also feel should have been called peach raceway considering Peach is the only one from 64 to not have a track directly named after her due to this)
i like double dash mario circuit. i think you did a good job talking about why you don't like it because most people say they don't like it because there are too many mario circuits in Mario Kart Wii. that's nintendo's fault not this tracks fault. so respect to you albert

Hate to tell you this but its an invalid list. You never included the remakes as their own spots for SNES MC 1,2,3,4 but then gave others their own spots.
I found those remakes to be as good as their original variants, so they were included alongside them in the same spot. While the other two stood out enough in quality to get their own seperate placements.
Coming back to this video has just reminded me of how dirty Shy Guy Bazaar was done by Mario Kart 8, skipped over in the Wii U DLC in favour of Koopa City/Neo Bowser City and then skipped over for the Booster Course Pass despite having a chance at getting in due to having a version in Mario Kart Tour… I hope it’ll be in the next game. Anyways, my updated ranking for the Wii U DLC would go something like: 1. Big Blue 2. Animal Crossing 3. SNES Rainbow Road 4. GBA Ribbon Road 5. Hyrule Circuit 6. Wild Woods 7. GCN Yoshi Circuit 8.
