The music of Paddy McAloon and Prefab Sprout has made my life better and more worth living. How many artists can you say that about? Just a great song on many levels. Good job on the video, MissUnderstood! We're lucky to be fans of one of the great under-appreciated geniuses.

I have been a Prefab Sprout-fan for 25 years and now Paddy McAloon has did it again (even if the album has been delayed for many years). A TRUE MASTERPIECE!

The wonderful mix of star-like synthesiser punctuation, with the trumpet replying, the underlying bass and off beat synthesiser melody.... just wonderful. I'm not religious, but the tenderness and purity of Paddy's vocals are just so moving. Thanks for posting so I can be share my thoughts with fellow Sprout lovers.

Regarding Paddy: I've never understood this industry idea where you produce a album then you have to tour it. And because of that it has to remain within the constrains of being able to played live. I'll listen to CD's hundreds of times; never seen Prefab and probably will never get the chance, so for Paddy to be making albums, mixed and over dubbed and all that is all totally fine with me. Better to make the album as rich and interesting as possible.

This song just brings tears to my eyes: the melody, the lyrics, and the beautiful message. I am enamored with the "LCTHWWM" project. Sure, the production is from the early 1990's (as that's when it was basically completed in demo form). I enjoy the aspect of spirituality in so many of his songs, and it's done in a way that it's generally nonspecific...just beautiful...

I keep coming back to this song. The words and the images are beautiful. I'm sure with paddy's genius he could make the music sound less plinky plonky and it would be amazing. I already think it's amazing but I was thinking about for general release for a larger market.

Seemingly Sony did not reject the album but requested that there might be one or 2 too many songs on it and paddy misunderstood what they were looking for and started to rewrite it and it got lost from there. Its 17 years late but still lovely.
