This is a video of my pencil test i did it 4 times before i recorded it and got the exact same thing each time so im kinda freaked.
my grandpa did it to me when i told him i was pregnant last time and it was correct i didnt belive him so he did it to my mom and grandma and it was right and i did it a few days ago to my mother in law and it was correct for her too.
So I just found out im about 4-5 weeks pregnant with my 4th child
i have a 7 year old boy a 6 year old girl and a 17 month old girl.
I have not been to the doctor yet so i have not had any ultrasound or anything what so ever.
I will post updates as to when i get an ultrasound and when i find out what im having but tell me what you think.
if you have had kids or are pregnant please try this right now and post your findings especially if you already know what your having.

A few years ago I did and energy session for my friends son. During the session I looked at my friend and asked if she spotted during his pregnancy and she had. I told her that her daughter (she had 3 sons) wanted her to know that she was alright and that she didn’t need to worry. Then my friend told me that she had done the pencil test a few times over the last 20 years and every time it said there was a girl between her last 2 boys but she had never had one. When I explained what a vanishing twin was she understood that the pencil wasn’t wrong. She had just miscarried one twin while remaining pregnant with the other.

sorry for your loss. i lost two as well, a boy in 2008 and a girl in 2009. i'm sure twins were very hard.

how far along can you be when you take this? and can you take it to see what you'll have in the future if you aren't pregnant ?

I am so sorry for your loss even though it was a while ago. I did this as I am 5 wks preg and I got boy, boy, girl. I have done it about 7 times now and every time gotten the same results. I don't know if it pauses between the first two boys as sometimes it stops for longer, some times it just seems to stop for a second and then swing boy again. I will post another comment on here when I know what I am expecting.

I did this when I was pregnant and it does work you are suppose to do it on your Right wrist. It will count all your kids. Up and down is a boy across is a girl and the circles in between is for the next child and you can keep it there and let it count all of your children. This has worked for years. Some people use their wedding band. When you try it with each one it starts from the begin of all children.

Okay, this is confusing. A friend of mine who's like 3 months prego, done this and it said a boy for her (yay, for that), but here's the crazy part, I done it to myself later on, and it said 2 boys and a girl for the last one. Okay, I don't have any kids. I am 40 years old and can not have any kids (even if I wanted them). So what do ya make out of this? Any advice would be fabulous, because I about fell over when the pencil was moving. Thanks:)

my family has also done this for many years. It is right most of the time. it does change too over years, say your life has a drastic change. It may or may not change! i had one girl and boy right both times :)

hey krista! i actually just did this needle and thread on myself after watching this video..i am 6 wks and 3 days pregnant..it showed back and forth for my first son..then back and forth for my son i lost in a mc..then it went into a circle and back and forth on the last one..I have not had an ultrasound yet..but if i am having twins..omg..lol..i will keep u posted for sure!

I have twins girls and a boy! I don’t plan on having anymore children. My grandma swears by this and it’s been right for everyone in my family. It was exactly right for me and then it stopped, so guess these are my only three kiddos!

I'm not even pregnant or have any kids yet, but I tried this test and it predicted 14 kids for me. I've also tried the ring test, and it had the same result as this test. Creepy, yet cool

Exciting! Just heard of this. Ive tired it three times tonight. It says two boys (which I have) and pregnant now. It says twins...girl and boy. I have my first OB app in two days (Im almost 10 weeks) so Im hoping they can hear two heart beats :) I'll update. Im sorry for your loss!! Know that God has a plan for you doll! :)

My science teacher taught me this. If you tell yourself to move it in a circle without moving. Your nerves in you finger will move causing the string in the pencil to move the pencil

well I tryed this and mine showed 5 kids n stopped but u say that circle is a girl n lines r boys but on mine the first 2 does circles for girls and they r actually boys the third ones shows a line so what does that means that I may have a girl next or a boy ?can help me please?

This has worked on me with everyone of my kids including my twins for them it did a big circle and side to side. I wasn't sure what it meant until I went to my ultrasound and found out I was having twins. I'm supposed to have one more girl so I'm just waiting on her.

I have a double boy line up but not sure if it will be twins. I've done this to many people and I've only been wrong on 2 children. A friend who was boy girl girl girl well one of her girls ended up being a boy. I think it's cuz he will end up being gay not sure though. And the 2nd my friend onky showed one child a girl well he ended up having a girl then a boy.(maybe it's not his bio child idk) bit only 2 times I've been off I can't see miscarriage or abortion I'm not sure if they show up and I can't read if it's multiple children at once

Sorry to hear that, Im sure you will be blessed with more beautiful children. Yes I believe the test works, it show ed both my girls that I have the twin boy I lost, and 2-boys and another girl. wow! I had to stop it myself.lol! and just think, Im an only child, I must be making up for old and new. lmbo!

Mine went boy, boy, girl, boy, stop. The pencil twists between kids. I have now had all four of them, exactly as predicted. I went back and did it again, after reading it makes circles for miscarraiges. I have had two pregnancies that didnt make it past 6 wks. It made larger round circles between 1 and 2, and 3 and 4, where those 2 miscarraiges fell, as opposed to the oval/strait-lined girl swing. Now however it has added a bit of funkiness. It swings strait line girl (side to side), circle, diagonal, strait line girl...then twists and stops. I got a + test 3 days ago, and today seem to be starting my period. Wondering if was twins and 1 didnt take? Will be curious to see if any girls come from this weird 2 girl swing... Anybody else get anything like this?

Everyone that I have tried it on it has worked. When my wife and I got together we each had a girl from our previous marriage. We both always wanted another kid, I especially wanted a boy. The pencil test showed us both having a girl the a boy. After talking about it, we decided to have child together. We had a boy. Step daughter shows having a boy then girl, she just had a boy last Oct.

Mine said I'm having a girl this time around... And it said my first pregnancy, which I miscarried, was a girl. Then it said boy (my 9 yr old), boy (my 7 yr old), boy (my 5 yr old), then girl (my current pregnancy)! Thanks for sharing, this was a lot of fun, and quite accurate as well!

I'm about 16wks and I did this test. The pencil was not pointy, but it did have a point. The motion of the pencil was up & down lines, but it spun the entire time. What does that mean? I want & do hope that I'm having a son, but the spinning was strange! Should I have used a pointy pencil? Does that make a difference?

i did it to my mom, said girl(my sister), then girl(me), and then boy... but my mom had her tubes tied after me. so not possible to have a third baby... still fun to do!

hey i am 6 months pregnant with my second child and i already had my ultrasound done and the doctor claims its a girl. I did this pencil test on my wrist and it shows my first daughter which is correct but then it shows a boy (the baby im pregnant wit currently). i am so confused and i had never had an abortion or miscarriage either. any advice?

i did the same sorta test but with a ring on a string over my hand an it was correct so far an it predicted a boy and im currently 3months pregnant so waiting to find out babys sex.. is pretty freaky i reckon it works tho.. sorry for you loss

after watching this video, I got up from bed to try this im currently pregnant with baby #2... First I did it on my wrist and it started moving in a line than it slowed down and stoped and than started going in circles pretty wide ones too... I have a 1 1/2 year old boy and should be finding out the sex of the 2nd baby on the 23rd of July so il keep you posted and tell you if this worked for me if it did than I should be coming back to tell you if its a girl or not... Wish me luck,I hope it is!

This may sound a little eerie but I'm going to tell this story anyway. when i was 18, i was talking to a friend who adamantly refused to have children because of a story they heard about a woman dying after child birth. it scared her. she asked me in this debate. if i would still choose motherhood even if it may mean i may not live long to enjoy it and may kill me. I was 18 and I can say without a shadow of a doubt yes.

what does it mean when the pencil "twists", like its being twisted back and forth in someones hands?? Mine told me boy (right), girl (idk - miscarriage), then it started shaking and told me boy /girl/boy/girl, etc then stopped ...Im not sure what Im having, Im only 10 weeks #Creepy

I did this on both my husband and I. I got my two boys( from previous relationships)and then (my husband too)2 sets of twins ( girl/girl and girl boy). I did it over my uterus it did the symbol for the first set of twins. :) If it doesn't move when there's nothin' in there then...

i was always told if it goes Up and down its a boy side to side its a girl and circles means its "reading" its worked on everyone i know too i guess its just what you know is the way it works but im hoping mine is right because I am pregnant with baby #2 and it says girl! i have about 8 weeks till I can find out but I already have a son so we r all hoping for a baby girl!

pregnancy is circles, down the forearm is girl, and across the wrist is a boy. my brother, my two sisters, my dad, my mom, and my sisters husband, and my uncle and i did it, all have been accurate, we still have to wait for my brother, my other sister and my results to see if it is accurate because we are still young

I'm pregnant, this is my first, and it showed a girl and it stops. Then, I did it to my husband and it shows 3 boys (that he already has) and a girl! It stops for him after that too! That would be so awesome if we have a girl!

I have done this several times to my self although a little different will go up and down for boy and side to side for girl and circle inbetween each kid. I have two boys and am five weeks pregnant with baby number 3 for me it says boy which is my oldest boy which is my other then says girl girl and stops so we will see:)

It was correct on all my children exactly. I had a boy,boy,boy,girl,girl,boy....I'm am currently 15 weeks and 6 days pregnant. And showed me having twin girls because it did not stop in between. I have done this over and over and every time ,it was on the money:) freaky!!! It feels like I'm having twins, I have an ultrasound next Wednesday. I wonder what they will find:) Please let me know if anyone went through this.

omg I just did it and it says a boy first then a girl. I held it up for a few seconds longer after that each time and it never moved again. it just vibrated in place. creepy but cool. does anyone know if they count for miscarriages. I've had one last year.

Hi ! I did the pencil test. First soft circle ( miscarriage girl) ,second time staight line we have a boy 19 months old and I am pregnant now and have a circle now and after stopped the pencil. We dont know the gender from the ultrasound yet but we really wanna girl. I will let you know when I have a ultrasound.

In case of mine pencil first move horizontally,, then in circle after that vertically which u said is a boy,, again it moves in circle.. while i m confused between horizontal line and circle,, as i have one girl child,, now i m pregnant with second baby,,, want a boy,, but dont know exactly which of gender my baby is. so I guess whether you have a boy or girl is already predetermined. Anyway here's what I notice...in most couples, controlling/dominating woman= baby boy, controlling man= baby girl, so having an equal number shows a balanced relationship. I've noticed this in too many people for it to be a mere coincidence. Mine said 3 girls 1 boy makes me sad...I've did the ring/thread one and it's 95% accurate on my relatives

My friends mom did this when she was 15 it showed: boy, boy, boy, girl. She lost a boy, had a miscarriage, a son, and then my friend (girl) She did the test again after having her tubes untied and it said: boy, boy, boy, girl, boy, girl. after my friend she had a little boy and then a little girl. it was 100% accurate.
