To anyone who is worried about gaining weight and how you will look after delivery that’s totally normal and in no way means you’re not ready to have a baby and be a mom… everyone is different and everyone’s weight gain is different during pregnancy and everyone is different after pregnancy and not everyone “bounces back” as quick. I was chubby my whole life, I was tired of being fat and lost 50lbs and never wanted to look how I did before ever again. I was afraid to gain weight. I was in the best shape of my entire life when I finally got pregnant again after 8 years of trying and lost 2 babies. I was so fucking excited. But let me tell you gaining weight as beautiful as it was growing a human and how happy and excited I was for the next chapter gaining weight was hard for me. I had a very traumatic delivery and pp anxiety and I wasn’t able to work out as soon as I would of liked and 8months later I’m still working on losing the baby weight and yes it is difficult mentally but that has ZERO affect on my ability or readiness to be a great mom. Our bodies do amazing things and growing another human life isn’t easy! Everyone is clearly entitled to their own opinions! So agree to disagree! But it does get easier and when you’re ready to diet and exercise and get back to feeling and looking like you did before pregnancy you can do it!

@@jena839 and never meant it to come across as affecting your "ability and readiness" to be a mother. i simply just stated that i personally did not worry about it because i was just so focused and grateful for the life i was growing that "gaining weight" was not my focus

@@KennedyStidham like you said as well I do miss my bump. I miss the movement and kicks in there and during it was not my main focus I didn’t think about it constantlyyyy the weight gain, I was so grateful to be pregnant finally and excited for this next chapter of being mom! But it was at the back of my mind and didn’t fully hit me till a couple weeks after he came out, just my journey with weight and eating I just wanted to say that some women do think about it and have a hard time with it that’s all! Your initial answer came off super harsh to me so it was just a trigger like woa I was ready I am ready lol that’s I guess where my response came from. I started following you on here after I watched I think your first trimester video it was and I stayed subscribed because I liked how real you seemed and how honest you were and there aren’t many videos like yours pregnancy related that I have found at least, it was just that answer that hit me.

omg I 10000 percent agree, if you are focused on baby weight instead of thinking of what a wonderful thing you are doing, growing a human and doing everything you can to nourish it, then you deff aren't ready to be pregnant! loved this video!! God bless

Congratulations! I’m a postpartum nurse so I gotta correct you and say - your postpartum nurses would absolutely know what to do in that situation. We are all trained for hemorrhage emergencies! Just wanted to give anyone watching that clarification, because it can happen regardless of where you are in your recovery. 💛

Kennedy, my postpartum story is/was so similar. Elle had Jaundice too. No one really talks about recovery or how hard it really is. Thanks for sharing your story girl. Killing it❤️

@@HannaZahara nikki is the 3rd, chloe is last and her middle name is Grace because she wanted it to be! and i actually said why in the vlog- but also my mom's grandma had passed away at the time she was born so she used her name instead for her!
