My first two are 20 months apart, then the 3rd came 26 months later. Our next one was almost 5 years later and then another 2 years later. I am so glad we had our first 3 close together and then added two more. They are best friends! Good luck! It is truly THE best! Having a family is what God intended! Congrats on all the success! Pregnancy is such a beautiful time, your baby boy is going to be so handsome and adorable can’t wait to meet the little dude! don’t worry on getting your house furnished right away, people don’t realize but you have a while to get that done now since you have a mortgage haha and sometimes it’s nice to actually earn the pieces and be patient with the items you buy. Getting a pet after the baby is born is not the greatest idea as sad as it sounds but that’s totally up to you guys! The first year is really the toughest, the second gradually gets more fun and easy, but every second is so rewarding 🤍 cheers to raising good humans. Love you guys!

During pregnancy I struggled with body image appreciation but after having my son that all changed. I began to appreciate what my body was able to do and instead of being concerned with my bodies appearance it became about the appreciation of its function and capabilities.

Coming from a mama of 2 and a third on the way, YOU GOT THIS! No one knows what labor is going to be like. Truth be told everyone's experience is different. It helps so much that Abby is staying active. That will help labor IMMENSELY. You guys are going to be the best parents, I'm so excited for you guys. Can't wait to continue watching the journey

The weight will come off fast with how active you two are. The recommended weight gain for most women is 28 to 40 pounds, so don’t feel bad. You have such a great outlook on it, and it’s awesome to hear it. Congrats you too! So happy for you both!

Aww I'm happy to hear you be open to adoption still. I think there's something really special about adopting when you're also able to conceive. There's always this thing where adoption as a last resort for parents who can't have kids so I feel like it's so special to be a couple who also adopt alongside having kids.

I’m a first time mom and currently have a 3 month old. Some advice: 1. Save that colostrum! It’s SO good for baby. Don’t pump because that could put you into early labor, but if you’re leaking freeze it in syringes and bring to hospital in case baby has trouble latching! Save some for home too. Babies eat less than half an ounce at a time the first day so you don’t need a lot. 2. Sleeping pregnant is the worst! I also was a belly sleeper and normally switch positions throughout the night so it was tough. Even being 3 months pp belly sleeping still isn’t ideal when breastfeeding because it hurts, causes leaking, and could cause clogged ducts so unfortunately you probably can’t belly sleep as soon as baby is born like I was anticipating :( 3. I would recommend waiting on the dog, at least for now. We have 2 cats and I feel like we can’t even give them the attention they need right now that I can’t imagine having a dog who requires even more. We’d love to get a dog too but will probably wait until our last baby is a couple years old. 4. Take all the pictures! I did biweekly bump photos just to have for myself but really don’t have many other pictures besides that and regret it. Would also love to see a “baby names I love but won’t be using” video!

Pregnancy was hard for me with the idea I didn’t really have control of my body… I am blessed to be healthy to carry a child! But it really is a mind battle with your body. You’re not alone !

You said that you feel like the further apart your kids are, the less they bond. While this may happen sometimes, my brother and I are 7 years apart and he is truly my best friend! However far apart your kids are, they will grow and bond in different ways 😊

So happy for you guys! Also would like to just say how refreshing it was to hear you talk about how you are hesitant to get a pet because you care about the pets well being! SO MANY people will get a pet not thinking about the responsibilities and how much time they’re going to be able to actual put in to the animal. So thank you guys for being so kind!

My kids are 19 months apart and it’s amazing and exhausting and wonderful! You definitely need a good support system but you have your amazing hubby at home with you, so I feel like with ya’ll’s occupation it’s totally doable. I will say it’s harder to lose the baby weight the second time around & the second pregnancy is a bit crazier because your body changes and grows faster (which for me meant more stretch marks and more hip, back, and everything else pain sooner) BUT I look at my two children (now 2 and 5 months!) and I wouldn’t change a thing. Pregnancy may have changed my body BUT it’s changed my personality for the better - it’s the most empowering thing I’ve ever done and I’m more confident than ever!

And it gave me time with my first to have him potty trained, sleep trained.. etc before jumping into having another. My second is almost 3 and I’m pregnant with my third boy. Just know that you don’t need to rush another pregnancy for that reason. Keep up the hard work!!!

So funny- my baby is also due the day after my wedding anniversary!! Also I’ve gained 50lbs at 35 weeks! Being 5’2” and never weighing more than 130 it’s been rough! I’ve also found that BIOoil has helped me with the stretch marks a lot!!

The stretch marks were hard for me too on my stomach.. my baby is a little over a month old now and I was worried about the birth too and my labor ended up being very scary 😬 but him and I are safe and healthy 👍🏻 I would also say as someone that never struggled with anxiety or depression I told my dr my mom and sisters had bad postpartum depression and she said it is more hereditary than regular depression . so I was very mindful for signs and I had to be put on medicine for it. I definitely recommend making sure Matt tells you or your friends/family if they notice anything after you give birth..until you live through that hormonal change it’s hard to explain how you feel after birth!

Why are me and Abby literally the exactttt sameee!!! I'm pregnant too! But I'm only about to be 16 weeks. I had to remind when I heard Abby call the baby "baby" because I literally call my baby the exactttt same thinggg!!! When exhaling my child as well. Crazyyyyy, Abby is literally my twin flame 😩❣

My abs would cone weird like that when I was pregnant (both times) and my dr told me it was diastasis recti. There’s lots of videos out there to correct it when you’re postpartum. If it ends up being severe enough, I think there is corrective surgery also. Definitely ask your dr about it and see what they suggest or recommend.

I had both daughters under 2. Don’t be scared of labor. You are strong and when the time comes you will just want to push and get it over with. It’s all worth it when you see your baby. ❤️

2 under 2 is challenging but SO MUCH FUN seeing them grow closer together and play together and go through first experiences together 🥰

I went into labor on our 1st wedding anniversary and ended up having our daughter the day after (10/20/20). It was so fun to go into labor on our anniversary! I also felt not great about growing/getting stretch marks when I was pregnant but now I look at them and they make me so happy to remember how strong I was and how cool it was to carry my daughter. Eventually you’ll embrace them!

Abby I also had a coffee aversion during pregnancy and I loved coffee! I couldn’t stand the smell of it 🤢 my husband would perk his coffee on our back porch for me most of the time even in cold weather so I wouldn’t have to smell it 😂 prayers for you and Matt and your baby for a safe and healthy rest of your pregnancy and a safe delivery! 🙏

I used “Utterly Smooth” while I was pregnant for stretch marks(IT WORKED WONDERS!). My husband put it on my belly every night before bed and that was his bonding time with baby

My wife’s doctor kept reassuring her that our daughter was in the right position until we found out at the last minute that she was breach and she had to be delivered via cesarean. Talk about a scary moment, but everything went great! Funny thing is, my name is Matt and my daughter’s name is Abigail (Abby). She’s just now finishing kindergarten. You guys are going to have a ton of fun and will be great parents!

I have 3 siblings (there is 4 of us) and my mom "popped us all out" in under 5 years. My oldest brother is less than 5 years older than my youngest brother. I LOVE you guys!

I just had #3 a month ago and so I have 3 under 4! (First two 19 months apart and second and third 2 years 5months apart) and you forget quickly the pain! You got this momma!
