Today's video includes the early pregnancy symptoms, the story of telling our families and the names/gender discussion. I update on instagram frequently - @anna.pouch Email me @ MidwestMomAC@gmail.com
I’m so so excited for you to experience this whole process with a man who absolutely adores you the way you deserve!! I think you are one of the realest woman on RU-vid and it’s so amazing to see you so happy!!! I’m so proud of how far you have came!! Also, I’m a midwife and some of the most amazing moments I’ve witnessed in the birth process is dads announcing the gender… that special moment between mom and dad is priceless and make the best pictures.🥰❤ I also had to add it’s so refreshing to hear how much his family cares for you and how happy they are!! 🥹You so deserve to feel that love from your partners family!
I love hearing you talk about this baby and this experience! It’s so heart warming to see how far you’ve come and this beautiful life you’ve made for yourself and now another beautiful blessing! So exciting! So fun to be pregnant along with you this time too!!❤❤
New follower! Found you from RU-vidr Headlines where she shared your comment on Brianna K's video. I was interested in your channel bc my hubby & I were both born and raised in the midwest (WI) before moving out west 11 years ago. I wanted to comment and say congratulations on the baby, first of all, but second, super proud of you for NOT filming your kids! I watch Josh on the Dad Challenge Podcast and he has brought so much awareness to what these family vloggers are doing that I was totally not aware of! Great job, Mama!!!
honestly Anna, i'm just excited you get to experience this with someone who truly loves and adores you. Maybe you didntbwant anymore kiddos but i'm glad you get to share this with luke!
Girl I know exactly how you felt! My husband and I found out in October we are expecting again and was completely unplanned, we were preventing but a baby is a blessing and we’re happy about it now. Congrats! So fun to be pregnant with you lol. I’m due mid June with our baby boy! I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy 💛💛
Totally fine with you keeping the kids off the internet! Just enjoying the story times you’ve been sharing 🙂 I’ve heard 3 to 4 is the easiest transition and you are a great mom!
My youngest son was a complete shock and the biggest blessing in my life. I was getting ready to be wheeled down to knee replacement surgery when my dr came running no I need to talk to her. He sat on the bed next to me and comforted me. My mom was in the room as well and it felt lik someone sucked all the air out. But after the shock wore off everyone was excited. Here we are 21 years later.
I love all the names! Your kids and Reid are all great names. I just hope you are able to not get stressed during this pregnancy and get enough rest. I know you have a lot on you!
My youngest will be 12 on Sunday and he was the biggest surprise. I never thought surprise pregnancies was a thing. I was definitely wrong. Lol. I absolutely loved being surprised. He completed our family. He’s my only boy…so we have a special bond. It’s true what they say about the bond of a mother and son. ❤
My story is literally the exact same. My youngest whose 12 is our one and only boy and he was a huuuge surprise. And our bond is crazy.. Its so special and I love it! God Bless :-)
I am thankful you were honest in your announcement. I wish more were. It’s not always an instant “YAY”. Some times it is a knock of breath out of you moment. It ends up being excitement, but shock is real. Thanks for being honest. You mentioning the smells in your line of work…. I can’t imagine!!! I couldn’t do it not pregnant without gagging. I can’t even fathom how bad it must be. Girl you are a super woman! I can’t! I am gonna make myself sick thinking about it! 🤢🤣
I know you love your kids. But this pregnancy you look different. You look like you are blissfully happy. I love it. Blessings to you and Luke and the family. Hugs
Pregnant with my second and we are waiting to find out the gender until birth and plan to do it for the remaining children we have 💕💕 It has been so much fun thus far!!
I’m telling you right now wait to find out the gender! We waited with our last two and it was so much fun and so rewarding! There really isint much you need to “plan” for when not knowing the gender. Honestly a few sleepers and onsies to get you through the first weeks then you can buy gender specific stuff! Also I love not knowing the gender then people can’t buy you gender specific things that you may not like! ❤
Congratulations so excited for you all! Maybe you could have Luke find out and keep it a secret so that way he can still announce it to you when baby is born.
Congrats! You could find out the gender at the 20 week ultrasound. Luke could get the gender card. He could tell you in a fun way. It would be kind of be 50/50 :)
I'm so happy for the two of you bringing a new life into this world, Also pleased to know that you do not exploit your children for views that my be dangerous to you and your family. There are tons of perverts out there. God Bless you.
Congrats! A good compromise would be for Luke to find out around the 6 month mark and surprise you with the baby reveal at a shower or private moment soon thereafter.
🤍congratulations🤍 I'm so happy for you and your couple. With my second son I didn't know are realize I was pregnant until 4 months and it was during a conversation with my coworker about our periods. Then it dawned on me I think I'm pregnant, she laughed at me😔😒 because I started to kind of freak out. I wasn't planning for another after my first son. While I was pregnant with my second child I never had morning sickness, only the poops real bad. I kidd you not everyday at work I ate McDonald's double cheeseburgers I couldn't get enough and to this day my second son hates cheeseburgers 🤢🤔
I had an aversion when I was pregnant with my son. It was to a song on a children's video that was playing when I got sick from the odor of our wood floors when they were refinished. My daughter loved the video but I would get sick every time the song would come on. I had to hide the video. 😍
I had an aversion to the way my MIL house smells specifically around Feb/March because that’s when my morning sickness was the worst and to this day 10 years later when we go over there during those months I still get nauseous lol
You are a good mother. You shouldn't have to show your kids if you don't want to. I hope though we do get to see Luke here someday when he wants to. But thats all for now.
My cousin and her husband were like you and Luke about finding out the gender. He ended up finding out from the doctor (on purpose) and their agreement was that he owed her something expensive if he let it slip!
Congratulations!! With my oldest daughter I had one food aversion and it was mayonnaise. Just thinking about it made me vomit. When she was one year old, I gave her a kids hamburger meal from Wendy’s. It had mayonnaise on it. She wouldn’t eat it and now she’s 30 and has never liked mayonnaise. So weird because I’ve always liked mayonnaise except for those 9 months. 😂 Btw…Just in case a couple of people may judge because I gave a one year old fast food. we were in the process of moving. It was late, we were tired, hungry, and our kitchen stuff was packed up. I’d do it anyway but the moving was why we did it the first time.😂
Oh my goodness I had the SAME kind of weird aversion in early pregnancy with my son, but it was FALL DECOR! Fall decor and scents. I couldn't see pumpkins or smell cinnamon without getting very close to throwing up 😂 I had nothing like that with my daughter's pregnancy
Waiiiiit I’m pregnant and was so so sick during Christmas time and I told my mom the other day I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy Christmas decor/Christmas season again!! Haha it’s totally a thing!
I know someone who the husband and no one else knew. He would refer to the baby as he and she at different times so wife wouldn’t know if he slipped or not.
I'm still shocked your are pregnant 🤰 I've been following you since the twins I think and I know you did IVF with them. I'm curious now since it seems like you were able to get pregnant just fine with this baby even though you weren't trying. Was it you, the ex or both that had fertility issues? It's amazing how after needing help to get pregnant people are able to spontaneously conceive on their own.
She conceived Anniston naturally as well. Her ex husband had a low sperm count if I remember correctly. I do remember her saying they didn’t find anything known wrong with her fertility.
Maybe do a shorter length name like Luke's son but uncommon. Cora for a girl, Miles for a boy. Also consider a baby shower as first child together so gender could help with gifts for that although I feel the gender neutral products are at an all time high now.
Have a surprise gender baby!!!! You only need a few of each gender newborn size, or gender neutral. Gender neutral colored bigger stuff. It would be so exciting and special for you two.
It never fails to amaze me when people are "surprised" when they find out they are pregnant. When you are having sex, you should kind of expect that could happen. If however, you find out you are pregnant without having sex.....now that's a reason to be surprised.
I think a lot of times it is a surprise because people have taken the necessary preventions but they failed. Like Anna explained in her announcement video her IUD spontaneously removed itself from her body and clearly when that happened its efficacy was impacted!
You can still get pregnant while taking full precautions like we did. That’s what made it a surprise. We used backed up contraception. No need to shame people who are “surprised”
When are you due?🤍 I was pregnant when you were pregnant with the twins. Can't believe we have 4 yrs olds now! I also have an 8 month old the pregnancy was a huge suprise he completed our fam. Congrats again girl
