I found out I was a carrier of CF during my genetic testing. My husband isn’t a carrier but waiting for his results was so nerve wrecking. Deep breaths mama you got this. ❤

I am a carrier for cystic fibrosis. When we found that out when we did the genetic testing for our son I was terrified to find that out. Thankfully, my husband is not a carrier so all the worry was for nothing. Sawyer's attitude was exactly right. You take it one step at a time and if you need to adjust you will. Raising a human will have so many challenges and speed bumps and this is just one. You guys are so capable no matter the outcome of being the parents your little one needs.

There is a great trick with a hair tie you can do to keep your pants going a little longer. But also don't totally rule out maternity jeans with the bump cover, they are so comfy and give great support.

18 years? lmao! My son is 31 and I still worry about him like he's a newborn.

You are the cutest pregnant girlie!! I swear I didn't even start showing until I was abt 5mo bc I carried more high than out front (w all 3 of my kids) and didn't start feeling anything (w my first) until abt 20wks.....

It’s ok to be anxious and worried. Your baby will have an amazing life with loving parents. My 2nd was born a month early and found out 3 days after that she was born with 5 heart chambers and 3 holes, a very rare heart condition. The hospital had 30 heart surgeons plus medical students fly in to witness and learn through the procedure and she was entered into the Physician’s Journal for her rare heart case. She had a 20% survival rate and handing over our baby was gut wrenching but we did it with faith. It was on Valentine’s Day 2008 that she had open heart surgery at 5 weeks old and today she is a completely healthy, beautiful, 16yr old on honor roll, that excels on her HS Varsity swim team. Sawyer is right, you just have to take things head on when they happen and support each other through the challenges. Our girls are now 17 and 16 and I still worry over them. Parenting lasts until you take your last breath, not 18 😅. You got this Mama. It will be ok, breathe. Hugs

So sorry you're going through that. I had an abnormal genetic screen too (something different than yours) but my little boy turned out just perfect! Hopefully you have the same experience. Speaking of cleaning floors/carpets..I stopped wearing shoes in the house once I had my little one. Think of all the germs we bring in with our shoes then our babies crawl around on that. 😮

Iam surprised you havn'tt started on the nursery yet. lol I can't wait to see it, I know its going to be awesome. Sawyer is correct, with kids it will always be something. I raised 3 boys....they survived as did hubby and I lol
