My brother and I are 15 months apart! It has been such a blessing. He is older than me and we grew up as best friends. I was in his wedding. It’s so sweet to have a close sibling.

Congratulations you guys! My first two were 17 months apart. It was crazy town but I loved it. Our middle and our last baby were 22 months apart and that was fantastic too. They are all teens right now with our oldest turning 20 in a week. They are all close friends and I couldn't be happier about that. Whatever you do...emphasize the importance of them loving and caring for each other while they are growing up. Help them problem solve and help them to communicate well enough to temper any resentments. It will help them to have great relationships with their siblings and to become not only siblings but best friends.
I have 3 older siblings and we are each 1 year apart (31, 30, 29 & I’m 28) and it’s so fun. I’m 28 now but we truly are the best of friends in our adulthood. Makes me want to plan my own children to be close together as well!
As someone whose sibling is 18 months younger than me, it really does feel like the perfect age gap! My brother and I are so close, even though we’re at different life stages. C:

Such an exciting time for you both. I like what Chad said about having baby 2 whilst you are still in the thick of it/before it gets too easy. It makes a lot of sense. My eldest was a few months shy of turning 4 when I had baby no.2. It was a great age gap in terms of him being fully toilet trained, going to kindergarten 2-3x per week ect. However like Chad said, I was already out of that full mum mode and regaining my independence. Then all of a sudden I was trying to navigate sleepless nights, wake windows and naps with a very active pre schooler that I still had to entertain & give attention to. Their age gap is beautiful though. Big brother is very helpful :)

Omg, tori when you were doing the "I have a surprise video," I knew for sure you were pregnant during the video. As you were dropping story hints before that vid dropped, I just felt like you were pregnant, lol. I'd been feeling for a while baby #2 were coming for y'all! How crazy!!!

FWIW, 43 years ago when we had our daughter I did a Leboyer bath. Not the little bassinet type, but I filled a bathtub with womb temp water (she was birthed in a cabin in the woods). She was 10 minutes old and I put my hand under her head and floated her around. She just cood and looked around. From that moment she had me wrapped around her little finger. I highly recommend it. Congrats.
