Evolution Square better make a video "Making Prehistoric Park in Prehistoric Kingdom" since they have done Jurassic World in Jurassic World: Extinction! :D
Very exciting for those who have followed this game since the days when Prehistoric Kingdom and Mesozoica were the only park builders we were getting! One stood the test of time, the other... well we all know that story
So proud to have followed this game's development over the years. This, Prehistoric Planet and JW: Dominion could bring dinosaurs back into the public eye.
But not Jurassic World Evolution 2? Another dinosaur park management sim based off a globally popular movie franchise. Yea…if you don’t think JWE2 had that kind of influence power, then you can bet PK won’t either. JWE2 was at least available on console and PC, whereas PK is only PC.
@@JBrotsis1 Prehistoric Kingdom is getting a lot more attention than JWE2 already, not to mention that very few people play these types of games on console anyways. It isn't going to take the World by storm or anything but it's going to last a much longer time. JWE2 will run for a couple years or so and PK will be continuously updated for many years to come, I'm willing to bet.
"What if .. extinction didn't have to forever ??" "Life...always finds a way" The quotes that immediately popped up in my mind after seeing this trailer .
Because a team of true paleonerds was behind and wanted make something authentic instead of just try to make a quick buck. This game was in development long before JWE was even a thought.
JWE focused more on a wider, more casual-sim game audience, and relied mainly on the IP to sell. PK from my point of view is a lot more like PZ, which is more creative but is unfortunately targeted to a narrower audience
This looks amazing and already looks better than Jurassic World Evolution 1 and 2! I love Planet Coaster and Zoo so seeing another game similar to that is exciting!

When it's fully released, there are definitely gonna be more updates in the future from what I've read. They should also include some pterosaurs and marine creatures. There are even art pictures of the creatures that appear in the game and possibly have yet to appear.
@@elbashar7589 monster is the term used by Wu in the films themselves. If they’re not monsters what are they? They’re literal generic chimeras used to create what are essentially new animals following the template of dinosaurs

What a time to be a dinosaur fan! This, "Prehistoric Planet" & "Jurassic World: Dominion" all in one year! Only difference between the products: 2 have scientifically accurate animals & 1 has fictional counterparts. Definitely getting a new gaming PC just for this game!
Looks great! Frontier made brilliant theme park & zoo games in Planet Coaster & Planet Zoo but then ignored those foundations & went in a bad & dull direction with the Jurassic Evolution games. This basically looks like a Planet Zoo but with dinosaurs which is what people wanted & should be much better then Evolution.
@@SeekersLegacy They really weren't that deep. They were decent enough park builders but the level of customisation in Prehistoric Kingdom far exceeds either. Also the Evolution games, especially the first one, have issues with dinosaur behaviour and animations.
@@JBrotsis1 They are solid enough games but they fall short in several areas and most of those areas don’t have much room for improvement without a complete overhaul due to how they work

See Frontier, this is all you had to do. Make Planet Zoo with dinosaurs and it would've been perfect. But hey this game exists to fulfill all of our dinosaur related fantasies so there's no point complaining.

Lol no they aren't, the Evolution games are literally only Dino vs Dino simulators if you build them that way. You can actually keep animals separate and care for them and even breed docile versions if you want. Maybe try to enjoy having both products representing dinosaurs on the market?
