We to this hike to Preikestolen on October 30, 2021. We had the opportunity to see the Pulpit Rock without the usual crowd on it.

Thanks a lot for this document. I'll go there this year and, as I am an old guy, I was not sure that this hiking trail was possible for me. Thanks to your video, I now know that it is possible and even easy.

I am planning to visit Norway in October. Pulpit Rock will surely be one of the place I want to visit. Should it be a good decision to come in mid October. Please suggest.

Check the weather one or two days in advance, have good cloths (assume a cold weather with possibility of rain and keep in mind that there usually is quite windy up there), and you are good to go.

@@mohitgupta980 I am not sure if there will be any shuttles for Preikestølen in October. You probably should contact them and ask about it. But if you want to make it more challenging and longer, you can take the ferries from Stavanger, get off on Brattlikaien, hike to Preikestølen cabins (at Preikestølen visitors center and stay over night. Visit Preikestølen the day after and get back to Brattlikaien on time to get the ferry back to Stavanger. It needs a good planning since there are only a couple of ferry departures every day and you need to book the cabins in advance.
