Great video & info. Currently in California (i.e. higher than US average + inflation) 1 pound of bananas is about $2.60. Converted that's roughly 0.45 kilos for about 12 Ringgit.
I’m in Hawaii. Bananas here would be around $4 usd. The prices of the USA imported items are still 30% cheaper than Hawaii prices. Tillamook ice cream here is now $8.50 usd for the 1.5 quart tub. 😭
I love these videos! They make me feel like I'm hanging out with you throughout this pandemic 😂 Except you left me with major Char Kway Teow cravings at the end 😭Also I just checked and 1 kilo of Dole bananas are about RM 14 here!
Beside V.Grocer, i also shop at MBG. Banana's nowadays not cheap as those day it cost less than RM1 a bunch (9-12pcs) Dole is frm Philippines' cost around RM4.99/bunch (5-6pcs).Ya, beside banana's, others local fruits also not cheap nowadays! Advice: Better not eat inside the car with air-con running because u just come out frm supermarket as the covid virus now is airborne. Suggest u straight go home take a shower, wash hair , cloth's, before u eat/drink. Stay Safe,Stay Healthy.😉
Do they not list the price per gram or whatever smaller unit? Here, it lists the price per oz or pound, so you can easily see which one is cheaper! My first guess would be some legal action preventing them from listing the price? Also, shoutout back, for the Tillamook!!! Amazed to see it over there across the pond lol.
