Fun fact: this in the only MBT in the russian tree with commander thermal-site and their only other vehicle that even has it is the 2S25M! Also commander gun-controls are standard on most western tanks from rank 5 (keep that in mind coz they can shoot back even with a dead gunner), and on 9.7 this mobility is just barely average!
Pls improve the traction of tanks... tracks and wheels are quite frictionless... stationary traction when turning is artifically poor, wheels are poor in majority of cases... pls improve these.
@ 0:45 Gaijin hinting that Serbian M-84 (licensed T-72A + domestic modifications) series of tanks is eventually coming? The specific one in the video is one of the two newest modernizations, the M-84AS2 (steeper angle to the two rows of upper turret ERA blocks when compared with the M-84AS1). The M-84AS1 & AS2 feature the domestic M19 (formerly known as ERO-19 during development) ERA which comparable to Ukrainian "Nozh" ERA, in which the ERA contains multiple rows of shaped charges that in principle detonate upon impact to cut either an APFSDS's long rod penetrator or HEATs molten penetrator into multiple pieces which degrade their penetration capability. This is in contrast the the "flyer plates" that Kontakt-5 & Relikt ERA use, which push one plate towards the projectile (Kontakt-5), or two plates in opposing directions (Relikt), to degrade the incoming penetrator. M19 brings the M-84AS1 & AS2 ERA protection match Relikt, offering protection against tandem shaped charge warheads. The turret is also covered in a much denser ERA array than the T-72B3, which almost completely covers the turret front, sides, and roof, in ERA, while not having the big gaps that the T-72B3's ERA has between blocks, as well as covering up most of the vital weak spots around the gun mantlet that the T-72B3 lacked until recent modifications. Upgrades also include the commander's independent thermal sights, giving the M-84 hunter-killer capability which severely lacked from most T-72 modernization programs. A Remote Weapons Stations, which also gives the commander a backup independent thermal sight in case the primary one is destroyed. Automatic smoke dispersion upon laser detecting, in which the system can override any other inputs and swing the turret in the direction of the incoming missile while simultaneously dispersing smoke grenades. As mentioned before, has ERA mounted to the turret roof, but this isn't a "light ERA", but the same M19 used elsewhere on the tank, with main goal being to protect against top attack munitions such as the FGM-148 Javelin ATGM. A 1200hp VK-46TK-1 engine upgrade. An updated domestic Fire Control System, with hunter-killer capability, commander override, auto-lead, and target track. Features a new barrel and thermal sleeve to the 2A46M 125mm, which now capable of using gun launched ATGMs such as the 9M119M Refleks and newly developed domestic, higher pressure APFSDS round based on the IMI CL3579 Mk2 capable of penetrating ~600mm/0deg (+350mm/60deg) at 2km, putting it somewhere between 3BM46 "Mango" & 3BM60 "Svinets-1". The M-84AS1 & AS2 could come at the top of a Yugo/Serbian mini-tree inside the Russian tech tree. The M-48AS2 could be either foldered with the AS1, or be the standalone top tier tank ending the mini-tree at BR 11.0, while the AS1 or the older M-84AS (M-84AB1 / M-2001) could be Premium or Squadron Vehicles. The older M-84AS which stems from 2017, might make more sense as the tank before the M-84AS2, at around BR 9.7-10. I feel I'm not alone in saying Serbia & the former Yugoslavia have plenty of interesting vehicles that really deserve to be in War Thunder, for both Air, Ground, and even a few Coastal Fleet naval vessels and a handful of Bluewater Fleet destroyers such as the Destroyer Leader "Split" with its rich history, which could come in multiple configurations depending on the era.
I write some of my experience. This tank is very good in night battles and long range battles like Prochorovka thank commader thermals. On close battles is better T-72B, both are BR 9.7. Big problem of this tank is armour. You often play against M1 IP Abrams and Stryker, both have no problem to penetrate front turret armor, because using M900. 3BM42 can penetrate M1 Abrams turret armor but cant M1 IP one. And because they look nearly similar you cant fast recognize which is IP and which normal. The best thing would be give T-72AV 3BM46 and let it on BR 9.7. Second thing is and it is a big problem in Soviet teams, that players often has only this tank and after their first death they left. So you can lose battle in less than 5 minutes due this. Something similar is on US side with XM-1. They should add some thing which dont allow players who dont have at least level 5 tanks to buy premium tanks on top levels, its destryoing game for everyone. When i start with turms-t i had secondary tanks T-44 and T-55A, both were good as secondary tanks because can easily penetrate Leo 1 and similar BR 8-9 tanks, due low amor protection on NATO side. Small fact on end, Syrian army has also T-72M1 Turms-T without kontakt-1, because Syrians didnt modernized their tanks for some elite unit as 4th armoured division of Republican guard, but for company commaders tanks (from 1500 Syrian T-72s only 122 were modernized).
There are still problems with the regular release of videos, but according to plans, at least one video per month should be released. By different ranks, not only the 6th. Now we are developing 2 scenarios for the 6th rank and 1 for the 4th.
The recording comes from the face of the T-72. For the T-72, it disappeared from view (if we look from the position of the tank itself), so the replay stopped displaying it.
@Svannuta No one denies the facts, this video is exactly what I described. Because I directly recorded these moments from many angles and I know why this happened in this situation. If the player does not see something, then the server stops displaying it, replays work on the same principle. If this happens directly in the game and in direct line of sight, then this requires bug reports and additional consideration.
If the game had the same amount of detail and quality as anything around it(YT/Wiki) it would be an awesome game. Sadly the money counting bois from finance ruin it all.. It is sad to see that so many awesome people create awesome content for this game and the dude in charge makes decisions that even my 1 y/o niece would facepalm to.

*War Thunder please no, ugh. Russia will become even more unbearable now.* *The Turms spam is still high since the christmas sale......* *It is so NOT fun when over half of your leaves after one death. Come on man*
@@gaelan2k9 This is the most honest of the official reviews. All footage in this video was filmed in REAL BATTLE War Thunder and is based on real experience and articles written by LIVE PLAYERS. Straight from the Wiki. You can even see the nicknames of these players among the authors of the articles. This is a review and a good review.
@@keosmr About as good a review as a director reviewing their own movie, if they had of been critical of the vehicle and said it wasn't worth buying would the video have still been made?
