Guys, keep checking the description for updates! We're adding links as they become available. Batman and Superman appear to only be available at Entertainment Earth currentlly. No word on the 3-pack yet! Apologies for missing Black Manta in my video edit trying to get this ready for launch! But at least he IS available from places besides Walmart this time!

Thanks for posting this update, Stephen. I'm glad to see Metamorpho, Guy Gardner, and especially Booster Gold coming out. These characters have always had such an awesome presence in the comics. It is kind of cheap for the lack of a lantern for Guy Gardner or interchangeable limbs for Metamorpho, but I want to be able to afford them in the $10 price point, so I'll still take these being made as a win. I know that McFarlane (like other toy companies) often recycle molds as a cost- cutting measure, which is why we're not seeing different Superman head sculpts or Batman body sculpts.

Well said. And the repaints are largely decent. But just REALLY want a classic, Kenner looking Superman to go with McFarlane’s excellent Classic Detective Batman sculpt!

I think that's what it is.!! It just wasn't 'cost effective' to add lanterns to Kilowog (after so much plastic) ... and to Guy (so much sculpting) ... or Skeets ...after Booster's sculpting...!! As far as pants on Metamorpho... you know you can get arrested if you don't wear your pants...!??! (LOL.!!) 😄😃...no matter what you're trying to morph into....!! I wouldn't mind paying a little more for the figures ...if some of these accessories were added ...but I think there would be a mournful yell from the fans if there was a price increase. Maybe McFarlane will offer some accessory packs ... in the future.??!!

@@danielstjohn3018 I'd like to see accessory packs. That's a good idea if they applied to figures like the Green Lantern/Yellow Lantern Corps, or Metamorpho, and possibly a Plastic Man in the future . If they were cheaper than the figures, I'd buy them.

Because of your last post about the preorder going up today, I was able to get to order the four figs before they sold out, a couple minutes past 11:00am central time. Thanks for the info! Boy, did they sell out quick too… I came back to comment on the Bats and Sups not being available. I hate that McFarlane does this. Sure, I enjoy a toy hunt, IF and WHEN the stores have a them (Walmart..GameStop)but we all know how that went with reverse flash and the first black manta. Never did show up at my Walmart. I’d just like to order everything from one place at one time.

I usually buy 2 of each figure/vehicle I want. I was really not happy that batman and superman are only available when you buy a case of figures. I basically spent double what I wanted to and now have to resale the extra figures to recoup my money back. What puzzles me even more is that these 2 were the chase figures. We have had 7 other waves where different versions of batman and superman can be bought individually (excluding gold variants), but not in this one? Seems really weird to me. Why would they not make Metamorpho and Booster Gold the chase figures for buying a case? Especially because there are not a lot of repaints that can be done with these two figures. How many more time will Meta and Booster show up? My guess is not much. Also that B&W three pack looks horrible to me.

Let’s hope that release date is accurate this time! They’ve been off before, and so far, only Target is promising that date. Maybe they’ll hit stores before shipping like the last wave. Correct, Batman and Superman were Entertainment Earth exclusives (so far), and the 3 pack has not been listed yet. May end up being a SDCC exclusive and get a limited online push on the McFarlane Toys Store leading up to SDCC.

Thank you for the video I was able to get in on pre-orders. However have a question I have not collected in years like 10-11 and just got back into it with the Ross Christmas extravaganza. I am wondering now why things sell out so quickly. Is it more collectors, or more resellers, lower production numbers or something else?

That’s an excellent question, and I’m afraid I don’t know the exact answer. We recently returned to collecting also, so it’s been something we’ve also noticed. If I could guess, I would say probably all of the above you mentioned coupled with more widespread, advanced notice and updating through social media. You think of hundreds, probably thousands, of people making posts about these, sharing others posts, etc. and exponentially more people being aware of things more quickly than in the past.

I have to admit, I found this wave HUGELY disappointing. But I did pre-order 4 Black Manta figures. A while back, I lucked out and found the V1 Black Manta on a Walmart shelf (crushed bubble) and have been anxiously awaiting the V2 version (which I prefer) ever since.

I don’t think you’re alone in feeling some disappointment with many of these. Glad you could score your Mantas, though! I also prefer the black suit, even if the OG was more Super Friends accurate.

I’m not sure. For now, they were only offered through Entertainment Earth’s bundle. I expect they’ll be available at Walmart and GameStop in store and on Walmart’s website since they’re already listed (just not live for sale yet).

Not currently, no. Fleischer Superman and DKR Batman were only available on Entertainment Earth in a bundle. Will most likely show up later and be in store at Walmart and GameStop. They are already listed on Walmart's website, but not available yet for sale there.

@@maximusprime3459 I would say largely online. Last wave had many in store at Walmarts and GameStops, but it varies by location, even within the same city. The distribution system is kind of nuts!

The only repaint I wanna see is a black suit superman with a mullet. I don't care if it's the same mold, as long as it has the mullet... take my money!!

😂 I hear ya. I actually don’t think it’ll go up today. It may be being released separately, possibly in conjunction with SDCC in July. But we will definitely let everyone know when it’s live! That said, if it pops up and you see it, let US know! Lol

Yeah, total oversight on my part in not talking about him in the video, which I mentioned in the pinned comment below. But he’s included in the final photo and in all the links. I also talked about him in a previous video when wave 8 was initially revealed at Phoenix Fan Fusion if you want to see more thoughts on him. In short, very glad a new one was made and more available than the previous version! Also dig the black suit, personally.
