Will This LEAKED McFarlane Super Powers Lineup Be Our Wave 9? 

UPDATE: This does appear to be a legit list for Wave 9! How are you feeling about this upcoming wave of Super Powers figures?

I'll grab the Riddler, but the rest don' t do much for me. Tired of the repaints. I'd love to see, obviously the Joker, but also Zatanna, Catwoman, Lex Luthor, Supergirl, and it's hard to go wrong with a Martian Manhunter figure.

Definitely interested in Justice Society, Bizarro and Riddler.

I can't wait for bizarro! and if that is a kenner style Superman I'm getting 2 of them

I would definitely love to see a brand, new, classic styled super powers Superman body and head sculpt, but I’m not holding my breath. If we get the same Superman, but in the lighter shade of blue still pick it up.

Give me that new Superman figure with a more classic Super powers mold

that is neat that we would get two more Legion of Doom characters, then all we would need is Lex Luthor in his green power suit, the Toyman, the Cheetah, the Scarecrow, Solomon Grundy , Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold , and Giganta he did Darkseid in wave 1 and he was a big figure so he could do Solomon Grundy and Gorilla Grodd and Giganta then

Some of these sound promising but I'm afraid the line will stop before we get the ORIGINAL super powers line remade in this new one. Doctor Fate, Red Tornado & 80s creepy robot Brainiac are a must to me. I also really need Swamp Thing, Spectre and Phantom Stranger.

Chances are good I'll pick up Batman and Riddler. I might pick up Superman if they give him that more classic Super Powers look you mentioned. Also, I did end up caving and picking up Blue Beetle when I saw him restocked at Wal*Mart today. Haha! I'll pick his ride up if it his a nice sale price, I think.

I'm hoping we'll get a Bizarro and Riddler (Super Friends cartoon likenesses). I would like to see more villains in future waves, along with more female character, like Batgirl, Supergirl, Harley Quinn, and Black Canary. I would really like to see a Kenner-style Superman. I passed on the previous Superman versions because of the horrible head sculpt.

I want to see a classic kenner (golden age Aqua Man with the short layered hair and black trunks. I also want to see a more classic looking Kenner'esqe "Golden era)" Wonder Woman as well. Oh, and a classic looking Robin (Dick Grayson in future lineups.

This is a solid lineup. I would love the Justice Society 3-pack to be true. I am also hoping that what's coming might be released through multiple waves. That way maybe we can get a Batgirl, Catwoman, Harley Quinn and a Poison Ivy sprinkled in as well.

While a Super Amigos Riddler would rock, I feel like more BTAS style Riddler could be a good excuse to make a “Guy in suit and tie” style body that can be reused for characters like Lex Luthor or even a figure of The Question down the road

Glad to hear this is a 'legit list' ...!! Oh, boy...!! REALLY hoping those JSA figures are all Kenner-style and scale.!! (No one has mentioned this ...but if we get a good Alan Scott-Green Lantern...we just might get a Solomon Grundy ...sooner!! This Green Lantern and Grundy don't get along ...and they have a long history of .... not getting along.!!) I was worried that Blue Beetle would not be in the Kenner-style...and was 'way pleased' that he WAS in that original size and scale...!! (Thankfully.!!) So, ... maybe these Justice Society figures WILL be in the Kenner-style and scale, too..!! We NEEDED a new Riddler...(Great.!!) ...a Bizarro.!! (Great.!) ... I haven't learned my lesson yet... so, ...I still 'got my hopes up' that the Black & Grey Batman ...and the 'Classic' Superman are of the Kenner-style and scale.!! (I'll be prepared for disappointment.!!) That's seven figures... at least...from this Wave 9...!! I may order a second 3-pack of those JSA figures... depending ...!! ...and after some reflecting... I may also get 2 of those B&G Batman and two of the Superman...if they are in the Kenner-style ...!!

Riddler and Detective style black/gray Batman are for me!

As more of an old school dc collector and not really being in the loop anymore after the late 80’s, a lot of these newer spinoff characters, I am not familiar with. At this point with all the new waves coming out, the completist in me and my ocd just needs to have it, so I’m not complaining about what characters McFarlane decides to put out. Just need them all!!!

Did you back the Manta Mobile + Bat Boat + repainted figures on the Mcfarlane site? I got the Manta ship. The design is amazing.

I had that Toybiz Riddler as a kid, so I'm excited for that one. Personally, I kinda hope they repaint the Hal Jordan, that would be hilarious. I also hope they do a black and gray Batman in the Detective mold. Although I have gold Batman and Superman, I don't really care about collecting the rest of those.

I wish we just get accessories because wonder woman with a sword and shield would be nice. I know there were some Maybach during the 90s that had accessories because Batman had his baterang.

Man, I’m kinda conflicted on this one! I love Bizarro and Riddler’s inclusions, happy to see some JSA love, and I’m cautiously optimistic about that Superman, but the others just don’t do it for me. Still holding out hope for a Plastic Man, a Starfire, or a Harley Quinn lol

If this is accurate my guess is that the Bizarro will re-use the Superman wave 1 body. But I hope not!

God they did Wonder Woman they should do more females superheroes like Supergirl among others.

I absolutely love the fact that the design aesthetics and the intellectual properties Of the past like the Batman 66 themes and super powers are still very popular and sell out wave after wave. Todd must be scratching his head, wondering why his “cool“ over stylized over designed concepts, often wind up in the clearance aisle yet the classic designs, which he seems to produce begrudgingly, are still a big hit with the fans.

Of COURSE they're doing yet another Batman. I would rather see more different figures than more of the same ones. I mean, Darkseid is the only New God and there's a ton of the Bat Family and villains if he has to do Batman, but there are so many other possibilities...

Bizarro and Riddler are sold picks if the list is correct. It also is great because both of them are in the Legion of Doom. I would love for us to start getting 2 villains each wave.

And I am elated if the Three-pack of JSA figures is in the Kenner Style and size. Hoping for the future to get a more classic clean cut shorthaired clean-shaven smiling Aquaman. Perhaps in a super friends style 2-pack with the return of Black Manta in the blue outfit.… Or perhaps clean cut Aquaman riding a seahorse or water skiing on two dolphins 😝 🐬 🐬

Really wish they had changed the Superman mold before the old cartoon version, that I really love, but does not fit that slim body and that head.

i really cant stand either of those wave 1 superman or batman molds. i would have jumped on batmanga and fleischer superman if they were built on newer body types. if we have to keep using those wave 1 molds Id rather see them reserved for more monstrous variants of either of those two, like batzarro, composite superman, or the superman monster from the super powers cartoon.
