I'm so glad to hear that! I've learned not to focus too much on completing the challenge and more on the kind of work I want to get out of it. It's more fun that way!
this is such a cool idea. I want to do inktober but it's very intimating to me. I might sketch stuff ahead of time and maybe that'll make things easier.
Sketching ahead of time helps for sure! This is my 3rd year attempting the challenge and it's still intimidates me sometimes 😅 Let's just have fun and do our best!
@@PrintyCat I've tried to do inktober before but I ended up stopping. though I also wasn't confident in my art skills at all. I really want to do it this time. I totally need to remember it's about having fun!
Ah yes, I get pretty ambitious as well! But as long as I focus more on making the art I want to make, then even if I don’t complete the challenge it’s still something to be proud of! You got this!
Hello Gabriela Illutration. The drawing looks like the character of a disney movie and the dragon too. I love it😊👋🏾 this will be my first time participating inktober. I don,t use ink i use my oil paints and watercolours i wanna order 2 sizes of canson xl mixed media sketchbooks. I,ve ordered a 2,5 liter of safflower oil to clean my oil paint brushes and i ordered 5000 liters of linseed oil to paint whit my oil paints. I love my watercolours too. My favoriete brand is Pebeo. 😊👍🏾👋🏾have fun whit inktober i call it paintober cause i use oil and watercolours instead of inkt😊
I would love to join inktober but I can’t because every year I start exams in November so I have to study in October but this year is my last year in med school I’m hoping to join next year !!

I have never done InkTober, this being my actual first year (especially because I own ink) I am very nervous but slowly I am drawing all the drawing for October ^w^ /g
Is there a project that you feel would be better to pursue instead of Inktober? You could just take this time to make art that you really enjoy or come up with your own challenge! Some people do other challenges that align more with their goals or passions. I don't even use the prompts very much, especially if there is something I'd rather be drawing. :)
