I agree with all the choises! I would just add banshee to the list - ok her levels are less important than the others, but they are still nice and she is used also very often.
I left Banshee out precisely because her levels are quite insignificant and she requires no special attention. In the case of Ragnaros, levels can even actively hurt you if the Molten Giants end up taking towers on the wrong side.
I'm shocked that you never mentioned Witch Doctor with ward to proc absorb bubbles on the death ball. It's one of the most powerful combos in the game. It was a very noticeable difference on several Molten Core bosses.

I managed to complete Garr without them using a double Sneed strat with meat wagons. My partner and I were able to push both lanes and rake in enough gold from repeatedly killing towers to form large deathballs that didn’t let earth elementals pass after building up enough minis. Witch doctor with the shield talent and shaman were pretty crucial to sustain the pushes through the earth elemental death explosions and shaman totems helped fast cap towers, keep a tower alive during phase transitions, and sustain the barracks during the final phase of the fight. Ogre mages with the slow talent also proved to be pretty strong, though bat riders with the slow talent performed nearly as well, and for much less gold. And execute was pretty clutch if an elemental did occasionally get too close to the barracks, or to put some damage on Garr.
@@lichee12 as long as you’re patient enough to let the deathball build by the second tower as you repeatedly kill it-ideally with Lead with Greed Sneed-and you can keep your minis shielded with witch doctors it’s pretty unstoppable. I remember the AI casting chain lightning with the stun on the witch doctors just before earth elementals would die, which sometimes prevented the shield from activating and cost the push heavy damage and casualties. So you want to be sure you’re getting another witch doctor into the mix whenever you can and keeping enough minis in the deathball that the chain lightning either doesn’t hit all your witch doctors or takes long enough to do so that the downtime on at least one of them channeling their attack on the kill target is nearly zero. If you find yourself running out of time before you can get enough damage on Garr you could sub out the ogre for something like whelp eggs to drop on Garr when you have a healthy deathball and gold steadily rolling in. You could then take bloodlust execute to boost the whelps when they hatch. If ogre is in the comp, you could take the horde mini discount on execute instead, though it seemed to me like executing the earth elementals the deathball was killing risked causing the witch doctor shield to not activate, so be wary of that.
I think Garg is a big one to have at a decent level for baron geddon. Two (one each) with a lust-ecute was enough to drop him within the first minute of the encounter
Excecute with the gold reduction talent has worked much better for me. It reduces the cost of the next horde mini... so, the next Execute, making it cost only 1 mana after Jaina.
Kind of hard to test when you get locked in to the hero as soon as you beat the boss. The system prevents properly experimenting for something like that.
@@OldGuardian i know, but maybe best practice so far? I needed Drakkis for garr on last raid because i missed the Skeletons with Ritual strategy. Thought i will Need it for ragnaros so Jaina was already a good tip ;)
Will you show beating Garr without Ritual of Rime talent as well? Because I have only one talent and I've chosen 5-Man at some point as my first talent and I don't think I will have the opportunity to get second talent when Molten Core arrives at Wednesday.
You didnt talk about the gargoyle for the chease strat on geddon, mayb they'll fix it but atm its the best choice for F2p to progress through this boss
