Hey Derek, thank you for the early video. Just a quick thought about your new seat, you could try zip tying a couple of pool noodles on the inside of the seat (one on each side) to stop you from moving so much. Just a thought 💭.😃

I have a 1987 ranger show truck with a 2.0 with a 456 lift cam shaft with a 350 holly carb and a headmen header runs ok . Love that you put time into a ranger most people don’t love your show really inspiring

I've had two Ford Rangers, both Supercab, 4.0L V6, one auto XLT 4X4, one 5-speed XL 2WD. Loved both. They were one year model apart, but bought ten years apart.

My first truck was a 99 Ranger XLT 4x4. It was an extended cab and had the 4.0l. I loved that truck.

I used to be a crew member at the local circle track for two race teams for five years. and I have a little tip for you that will help a lot in the handling department. I'm sure you have heard of a little thing called tire stagger. it's where you air up all the tires to maximum air pressure leave them sit for about an hour. then take a sewing tape measure and measure the diameter of the tires. and then put the largest diameter tire on the right front. and if you have a locked rear end put the next largest tire on the right rear. and put the smallest diameter tire on the left rear. and whatever you have left on the left front. it will make the car turn left by it self. it like taking a paper cup and setting it's side and rolling if. you have an unlocked rear end reverse the stagger in the rear, give it a try.

Dream truck right there. I couldn't risk racing it. I've had 10+ Rangers and Explorers so far. Love them all. Good luck. Hope it comes back perfect.
