Preparing a Series 2 X-Panel for a Watercolor Painting PART 1- Using Daniel Smith Watercolor Ground 

Whether I am painting with watercolor or oil, I really love painting on X-Panels. They have a quality feel that is totally unique and after the first time I used one I found that my old substrates just no longer cut it! Here I will show you how I build the surface with Daniel Smith watercolor ground until I achieve the texture I want for the painting.
