Matt, is it necessary to pull out the samples from the water curing 24 hours before the compression test?i have trouble searching for the standards in the net.your respond will much appreciated.tnx

It's not necessary-most sulfur caps can be applied 2h before testing, and if you're testing cylinders in the moist condition, you put the cylinder back in the curing room or limewater tank after capping and before testing. I made this video for a class, and had people do it a day in advance to avoid a line of people wanting to cap 5 minutes before lab :).
