Preparing flake tobacco! 3 methods I enjoy! 

I take a flake and rip it in half. I take half the flak and do a semi rub out so it’s loose but not as fine as most people make it. I take the half I didn’t rub out and do a fold and stuff and the part I did rub out and put it on top. Best of both world. It lights easy and once it’s going it’ll keep going all the way to the bottom of the bowl.

Method 3 is almost like having the tobacco " walk the plank"!

I have a variation of your 3rd method. I fold the flake along the long axis, then rub it out into long strands-broken flake style-which I then fold and stuff. Then I rub a bit out into a fine shag for kindling on top. That’s what I do if I’m going to have the time to deal with patient relights. If not, I just rub it all out pretty fine.

Great video! Method 2 is the one I normally use but I’m going to try your method 3 which caught my interest. Regarding, Method 1, haven’t rubbed one out in years. 😂
