For more ice you should make a ship or rover to be just a pole runner with a several large cargos and/or H2 tanks. The poles are your best bet for an ice mine!

You can also use the Conveyor Sorter to remove the stone from the system when mining ice or other materials.

still watching but you make the event controller power output % and mark all your solar panels on it and mess with the % it's low as well like you will need 2 event controllers one to turn off and one to turn on. unless you can get a timer block to do a 2 hour cycle... great working mate.

if you do use the event controllers for the light also make sure you mark all the panels in and hit the and gate or it will give you a free storbe show. didn't appreciate how closely that solar array got to your buggy until you got in it.

just set the battery to toggle recharge on the ice base, and move your solar tower on the main base further away and higher up on pillar so you can attach panels below your O2 generators and try to get the center of mass of the solar array to where the hinge and rotor are.

to stop the shake alot use share inertia tensor on the hinge and rotor. it helps alot

What is "Ice power" ?

Maybe by adding two hinges and a connector you can save space to connect the rover.
