But I’d rather make the journey to the great unknown in economic health rather than as a pauper struggling with life during hyper-inflation. Most Americans are living pay-check to pay-check, have never learned financial literacy and will be decimated when the financial rubber hits the road. They won’t even have failed currency in their bank account let alone gold or silver. For those who have eyes to see or have read The Fourth Turning will know that this year is the year when everything goes pop. Be prepared, not scared, and honour and fear God for what’s coming. When I heard we were not going to be the world's reserve currency and the dollar was losing value, I thought gold and silver, maybe crypto, would be the answer, but the way things are being manipulated makes me wonder what in the world?

There is also a timing aspect where it can be looked at as successful speculation. There may be a timeline where it takes a while for items to catch up to gold inflation wise. Also, and my main interest to use some of my precious metals is to use it to pay off my mortgage. The banks are locked in with the dollar. has gold increases in value against the dollar.

The thing is when markets collapse the first scramble is to cash. Gold will go up after an intervention of QE Look at the melt downs of the last 25 years. Cash is king in a market melt down because you need it to pay your debts that can not wait. Then you can pick up assets cheap. If you think society is going to collapse …. Then by gold

One of the largest Japanese banks announced yesterday that they were divesting their UST holdings, something like 30 billion. The bank is insolvent and selling what they can now, but this will certainly lead to other banks doing the same. If Japan, a FED proxy is selling, then we are definitely in store for a flood out of US debt in the coming the months.

and no main stream media is talking about this or the end of the petro dollar with Saudi? So who thinks the collapse comes in little nicks one after another or it's immediately all at once? It's been going on since 2007. History 50 to 100 years from now will explain it clearly. But they won't let you know while it's happening. Never once did the treasury or central bank warn any American before a crash or collapse. If this has happened anywhere please let me know and I'll write a novel.

Hi Francis. I see silver as currently undervalued by a considerable amount. Isn't it historically a 1/6 or 1/7 parity with gold, although now it's about a 1/15? Industries are using silver for many things including advanced armaments, but when we get to the point where it is more expensive to dig it up then it should increase back to the 1/6 it usually is. Comments on that? Also, I'm diversifying into metals plus dividends incase markets don't crash (if they figure out how to kick the can down the road for a couple more decades). I know the inverse treasury yield and commercial real estate bank loans show it's about to crash, but maybe it'll be like a correction. Do you suggest diversification, or just a metals safe-zone focus? Thanks.

I'm UK based and I'd like to see a video on the next step, especially for those invested in silver, gold being a little out of their price range. If you and others are correct and silver sprints faster to a higher price, relative to it's historic levels, then I'd love to know, is it an exit strategy from physical metal? Is it trading a silver to gold, again assuming those that say the ratio could be as low as 20:1, or even 15:1? If such a video exists already, do point me to it please.

I like your video, sir. Have never come across you but you make a lot of sense. When you say that the official purchasing power of the FED note is $3 as compared to the $100 it was worth when the FED was created under suspicious circumstances in 1913 it sounds as if we still have some hope left. Perhaps to bring it closer to home and make people aware just how dire the situation really is the official purchasing power of the FED note is 3 CENTS as compared to the $1 it was worth in 1913. The FED note is worthless. One of the few things still holding it up is the faith of the American people in their FED note and that the American dollar is still the reserve currency of the world. The tipping point will come when enough countries join the BRICS alliance and when enough countries shun the FED note as their reserve currency. The sanctions against Russia have done nothing so much but to accelerate the demise of the American dollar. When the crash happens it will be swift and brutal. Many will be unprepared and spiral into a vortex of despair and indebtedness. Ripe for the picking when the government transitions to whatever their version of the new digital currency will be.

I like and agree with your thesis but your solution is outdated. It's true that gold has stood the test of time but new technologies offer improved solutions. Gold is subject to seizure, is difficult to safely store, is subject to counterfeit, the supply doubles roughly every 30 years and has been subject to serious central bank manipulation for many decades. If you are older than me (74), fear volatility and technology then it's a good second choice but bitcoin (digital gold) is superior in every respect. It can't be seized, can be exchanged easily peer to peer, has a much lower inflation rate than gold, is easily verified and can be easily traded in any amount. It's the most scarce asset in the world. If you're younger (ie < 74) and don't fear technology then forget about gold.
