What a beautiful garden. I am impressed with all the Dogwoods. I had no idea that you could grow them in Merced. I am in Sacramento and thought it was too hot here for them. Is there a secret for growing Dogwood in the Valley?

Using compost/our products/similar products to get healthy, lively soil can help plants withstand heat better. You can grow Dogwoods in Sacramento, just don't plant them in direct sunlight. It's more direct sunlight than heat that is problematic for them.

I grew up in Merced and I think I know the area he's in. A very quaint neighborhood with a beautiful canopy of trees.
