I prefer to watch the rehearsals rather than the performance because I can really appreciate the hard work, flexibility, strength, energy and precision that goes into this art form. Just beautiful.

Balanchine said "Ballet is woman." Moiseyev ought to have said, "My dance is man." The men are predominant in Moiseyev's work, they do the most brilliant steps and catch the eye more emphatically. The women do charming little steps and allow the men to predominate.

I'm hip hop dancer. In hip hop the beat is a very good way to syncronize the choreo, but this guys has NO BEAT!!! And is soooooo perfect, amazing, Russian's dancers are awesome.

I could watch them dance for hours. Especially rehearsal, it's like being allowed a glimpse on all the hard work it goes behind a single dance. Although there is much more. Thank you for these videos!

И первая же "верёвочка" -- нам ее давала на народном танце в институте культуры на 1 курсе молодая преподаватель из Москвы. Чудесная комбинация, сразу вспомнилось, как она нас, корявых, долбила, говорила - это моисеевская комбинация! Неужели я могла это танцевать? А как все моисеевцы делают чистенько, идеально! И безупречная синхронность! Даже в высоких прыжках! Невероятно! Обожаю этот ансамбль, мечтаю хоть раз посмотреть их концерт вживую!

When you witness the sheer exhilaration of young people locked in the embrace of the flowing movements of The Art of Dance, who needs costumes ? All else seems extraneous. IMB is indeed the most rewarding of all companies to watch and enjoy.

If I were someone who lived in Moscow, I would never, ever miss a performance by this fantastic group, even if I had to fight nasty snowstorms to get the to performance hall. And here, as always, it is great to see the wonderful Evgenia Pankova performing the duet at the beginning of "Summer" (0:01 to 1:21). I call her "Helen of Troy" because she has a gorgeous smile that could sink a thousand ships. If she ever walked up to me and let loose that smile, I think that I would probably faint dead away.

This is too perfect... I am more amaze about how all the male dancers have the same height and body types.. It must be very strict audition if u want to be a dancer in Russia.. A good dancing techniques is not enough.. Should have a certain body type as well.. They all look like cloning.. Almost scary but incredible at the same time... Russia has the best dancers in the world 👍

So fascinating to see them prepare for the moment they appear at a concert for a live audience.

Как хорошо что на RU-vid стали появляться такие видео: кого-то мотивируют, всех восхищают и кажется что пляшут одни пушинки и пушки, очень нравятся высоко поднятые ноги... с невероятной легкостью. Причем, кажется что девчонкам и так все легко дается (они малышки), а на парнях видишь эту мощь и силу. Прям ух! Недавно была на районном концерте (школьники танцевали... ручки болтаются, ножки болтаются). Движениям научили а как передавать и фокусировать силу в мышце не научили. Молодцы конечно, но не балет И. Моисеева )))

When all you talented and wonderful dancers recorded this for the show, I still love watching it all the way through!
