Amazed at how much of the wood you have been able to reuse! Here in the states we would never have been that frugal! Really, aside from screws you haven't had to spend much money at all!🙂
The timber is of much better quality than what's available today. It's like your old growth timber; slow grown with very close growth rings. There's really no value in throwing away good wood and buying an inferior product to replace it
