I found this in the public but not private system in Australia. My first round in public they set an appointment date without telling me and sent me a letter, when I called them to tell them I can’t miss work that day (I’m a teacher and this was near exams) they told me I had no choice but to miss work, when I said they might as well cancel the appointment then they threatened to call child services...I was only EIGHT WEEKS pregnant and miscarried a week later!
