Takeaways: 1. Start ur day with savoury breakfast ( never with any kind of sweet not even fruits) 2. Ear ur lunch & dinner in order of fibre protein fat carb dessert (if any) 3. Never eat ur carbs naked 4. Sugar cook your body from inside so avoid it almost 5. Before ur meal ( containg carb) drink vinegar in diluted form 6. Post eating always move your muscles ( even light excercises will do ) for atleast 10 mins 7. Lack of sleep puts extra exaggeration in body demanding for carbs and excess carbs lead to poor sleep. Do not fall in the vicious circle, avoid sugar particularly when u are out of sleep. 8. Avoid all forms of processed food even breakfast cereals 9. Whenever eating something for snacks like pastries or ice cream or chips or cookies to satisfy taste buds etc ( occasionally) always eat first some protein/fibre/fat/dahi/almond etc 10. Eating fruits after meals get fermented in body is an urban myth. Don't go by it. Infact it saves you from unhealthy dessert post meals. Feel free to eat whole fruits as dessert post meals. Thanks J&J for amazing & informative podcast. Would be waiting for part 2.

I watched this video on Tuesday or Wednesday. I started implementing the hacks- savoury bf, apple cider in my salad before lunch, food order, no more oat milk cappuccinos, greek yoghurt before any sweets... and today, by Sunday, I haven't had a crazy sugar craving or drop in my energy (the contrary). I'm mindblown, and I'm obsessed with the Glucose Goddess. She should give talks at schools. I'm implementing these with my toddler (savoury breakfast and cutting down on sugars) to hopefully build good eating habits from the beginning. Thank you Jessie❤

Being in a middle class family we cannot afford to hire a nutritionist or be a part of any gym , but expensive fancy healthy stuff … this podcast is life changing … I’ve been suffering anxiety depression since I was 16, and I am almost 30now . Every time my mental health is at Toss first thing I need is to eat sweets to calm my self down . I am Muslim who wakes up at 5 in the morning for prayer and it’s the most difficult part of my life because I feel this horrible sickness while waking up .. I watched a lot of videos about dieting nutrition etc… after this podcast I feel finally my search and struggle will be over … everything she said makes so much sense . How ignorant I was and the amount of false information we are been fed is unbelievable… Thank you so much jay and Glucose Goddess for this gift …

I am so thankful that my Polish Dad and Korean Mom taught me, in the 1970's, about real foods, nutrients, refined sugars, etc. and how it all affects the body and mind. It was at a common sense level back then, and now in modern day, science backs up that common sense knowledge. ❤ Keeping the body moving is beneficial for soooooo many reasons. 😊 What foods are selected is very important as well. 😊 Old school principles work so well for my body, heart, soul, and mind. Timeless and Priceless. ❤

Let me just say Thanks so much Jessie❤❤❤❤! I stepped out on faith asking God to guide me through your 4 week method. Not only has this method changed the way I eat my meals but also my aches and pains are gone. I know longer crave processed food. My cholesterol is in a normal range now and I am losing weight. I feel so much better. I am telling everyone I know about this method. It works!

Absolute truth! I would be a case study. I was taught all about counting calories as a teen because my Mom was on different versions of Weight Watchers her entire life. If only she would have known that with her low thyroid; with natural hormone & glucose balancing, she would have learned the tools to know body bliss. After significant trauma both physically & emotionally, my body started shutting down, was so out of balance, I got brain fog & severe depression. I started studying neuroplasticity and that's how I started following Jay, Andrew Huberman & The Diary of a CEO to hear all the amazing guests like Jessie. Love this! Will share the content with everyone that will listen.

1.Sugar makes aging process faster, causes inflammation 2. Order of eating is matters. Eat vegetables first. Don't start with starch. Eat sugar at last 3. Have a savory breakfast. Dnt do extreme diet. 4. Dont have fruit smoothies first thing in morning. Eat fruits rather than processed fruits 5. White malbury leaves, lemon extract, cinnamon, anti oxidants from green vegetables. Take together in pill. Eat b4 meal. Reduce glucose by 40%. 6. Symptoms are messages. For ex acne

Also drink a tall glass of water before each meal. It helps you feel more satiated and prevents over eating. In our vedas, they say pani khane se pehle amrit hai, khane samaye Anand hai, khane ke turant baad zahar hai, khane ke ghanto baad bal hai. I agree with Jay about the food tasting better in India, since they are not highly processed. In the U S A, I felt if I was blind, I would not know what veggie I was eating since the flavor and aroma are missing. My neighbor gave me a cucumber he grew over the summer in his garden. It gave me so much joy when I realized it tasted and smelled like the cucumbers I was used to, the ones that grew back home in our garden. I have since started growing tomatoes, chilies and cucumbers during the summer here. The flavor profile and aromas are so much better.

Vedas also point digestion as a fire - a whole glass of water can fully take that fire down. After that glass we need to wait at least half an hour to make that fire burn back. Or you can take warm water while eating but half a glass . That way you can fill up the stomach and help digestion. Water should be 1/3. Food 1/3. And air 1/3. For good digestion.

Honestly, this video is one of the most informative ones I have ever watched. I have a sweet tooth and I'm getting more addictive over time. Worse than that I've experienced all the bad health statuses that she's mentioned having no idea what those symptoms come from. Thanks a lot. I really love this video and gonna make positive changes

As a type 2 diabetic a lot of your information was told to me by my Dr and diëtist, but you gave some really other useful tips. Thanks for that! My takeaway is, that if you treat your body like a vehicle, your food is like picking the right fuel, oils and fluids. The way you eat it is like tuning your body. It really works.

You guys, I feel so hyped. I am at the beginning of implementing GLUCOSE HACKS… It´s 11:58 am. I am on maternal leave at home with my son. Now it is the time I would usually have lunch. Well, I would sometimes have lunch at 11:00 am, because I would be fricking hungry already… So as I said… It´s 11:58… Im still not hungry… And I am speed Cleaning my apartment… Normally I would try to have a nap as soon as my son would asleep for his nap. He is sleeping… and I dont need it. Well, it’s still soon to tell if I will have much satisfying life from now on thanks to this awesome french scientist, but I feel hope. And joy. And I dont feel hungry :-)) Thank you for your work and for your podcast! ❤🎉

This is so informative! sugar is indirectly connected to aging. Studies say that foods containing more sugar can also destroy collagen protein in your body thus accelerating aging of your body.

Also try going to your primary care doctor and get tested for RA rheumatoid factor. A lot of healthy people have it. Some people also test positive for rheumatoid arthritis. This causes inflammation in your joints. It’s probably not this, but it would be a good idea to check

Mr. Shetty, in light of the recent Guardian article that casts doubt on the authenticity of your monk backstory and raises allegations of plagiarism, there’s a pressing issue that needs your attention. Many individuals have invested $7,400 in the Jay Shetty Certification School, believing in its promise of a pathway to higher education. Yet, it appears that the advertised affiliations with universities do not exist, and the Guardian’s report suggests that your narrative may not be entirely accurate. This has left students feeling potentially deceived, having spent significant amounts of money and time on a certification that may not provide the value they were led to expect. How do you respond to these students’ concerns, and what measures are you taking to address this serious discrepancy?

Have u corroborated the claims in the article? Or do you presume everything the guardian says is always correct? Remember it's impossible to prove a negative.
@GGfacePALMs
@GGfacePALMs Месяц назад
@@thinker646 I appreciate your call for skepticism and the need to verify claims. However, the situation with Jay Shetty’s Certification School and the subsequent removal of university affiliations from his website following The Guardian’s article suggests a retraction or correction of previously advertised information. This action alone warrants a closer look and raises legitimate concerns about the authenticity of the claims made. The absence of a clear and public response from Shetty to address these serious allegations is troubling. It undermines the trust and investment many have made based on the credibility of his narrative and the promises of higher education pathways. Furthermore, while anyone can indeed engage with spiritual organizations like ISKCON, it does not automatically bestow upon them the expertise to counsel others in mental health or life coaching, especially not for profit. It’s not about negating the article outright but recognizing that when public figures and institutions fail to clarify such issues, it leaves room for doubt and skepticism. The burden of proof lies with those who make claims of affiliation and authority, particularly when they influence educational and financial decisions. As consumers and potential students, it’s our right to demand transparency and accountability.
